Is Revive still working for ARMA 2 Original? I tried my Terrorist Hunt Revive version on ARMA 2 original (the one that works for ARMA 2 Free too) on ARMA 2 original and instead of players having a revive option, they just instantly respawn and can go back into battle. I tried playing the same mission and same version on Combined Operations and revive works, why is this? I tested out Hornet's Nest on ARMA 2 Original and there's still a revive option. (OOPS, sorry. I should have read the front page more carefully)

BUG FOUND: Revive version no longer works on ARMA 2 Original -I have a feeling that ever since the 1.10 patch, Norrin's Revive script isn't working anymore on that, but I don't know yet. I have played it on ARMA 2 original again to see how it goes, and everyone just instant respawn instead of being incapped and having an option to be revived. I tried the ARMA 2 original version on OA and revive options appears and works. (I tested another ARMA 2 original campaign with revive and that works) -

UPDATED: -changed all units to BLUFOR to prevent conflicts with Norrin's Revive Script -removed CLY bandaged script from unit's init and added to init.sqf to keep command line simple -ALL MISSIONS have been updated Report any bugs to me if you find any please. Thanks. -

BUGS FOUND: -Revive version OA, none of the PMC units can revive each other -Revive version CO, none of the Spetsnaz units can revive each other but the US units can. Revive version will be updated soon to fix the not able to revive issue. -

UPDATED: -JIP issue has been fixed -OA content has been removed from ARMA 2 original ammoboxes -DMR added to all west ARMA 2 original ammoboxes Now you guys don't have to worry about random people joining the server anymore and messing up the game because the terrorists would disappear if someone joins. If you do find any bugs, please report them to me. The next Terrorist Hunt I'm planning to create would be in UTES and would probably be a maze on the airport or a Terrorist Hunt on the carrier. -

I'm just curious if people out there would still play ARMA 2 or not once ARMA 3 comes out. I still see potential in ARMA 2 and it would be a shame if the community all die off and move to ARMA 3 once it comes out. I want to know if people would still play ARMA 2 once in a while? -

Yeah, I too have only dual core PC and an NVIDIA 9800 GT. I'll have to upgrade my video card and CPU (my dad probably have some quad core computer laying around somewhere in his house) so I'll ask him for that I guess, but then I still got the video card. It's pretty tough on the budget I guess. My question is, if a lot of servers are going to be going on their way to ARMA 3, how will the ARMA 2 servers remain. -

Is boot camp available for the ARMA 2 Free Players?

how about someone create the "ARMA 2 Free Tutorial Mission" in the editor with hints that pop up that say what to do and stuff. Then guide them over to a shooting range and all to get them to familiarize with stuff. Also some unarmed OPFOR guys standing somewhere and BLUFOR next to each other to help them distinguish friend and foe (make them invincible just for display purposes)

that would sound good. I think op flashpoint sunken dragon has an option like this where u can tell ur units to clear a building (although I dislike the new flashpoint) but that option would really enhance the game. I would also like some flashbangs and incendiary grenades. Maybe a claymore too but I'm mostly in for the flashbangs for CQC

I selected 5 and pressed 6 but I don't see the defuse IED option on him. I just tried manually running the IED over with a car to get rid of it because I can't order my unit 5 to defuse the bomb, and after I took Anar, the mission black out but will never end. Ahhh great... I have version 1.10....

I can't disable the IED on combined arms. If I send unit 5 he just stands around the IED like an idiot, if i approach the IED to see if I can get a message to tell me to disarm the IED it blows up on me >.>

I mostly play MP with friends anyways. I rarely go on public server because its too unorganized and chaotic. I don't go to realism clan because there's too much dedication and "yes sir" kind of things. I mostly play once in a while with friends and spent most of my time for ARMA in the editor. -

Well, it seems like most of the ARMA series would be a buggy release on every release, so I'd say I would stick to ARMA 2/OA until it is sorted out. I would also need to get myself a better PC in the meantime and I doubt everyone would have such a high edge gaming PC. I wonder how many of the ARMA 2 Free Players would stay. -

Actually, if you shoot your friendly allies in ARMA 2, it takes more shots to kill them than the enemy AI. I have tested this in ARMA 2 and my friend messed around at night and pulled out a silenced M9 at a random OPFOR guy standing in the night. He pop one bullet in the face and the guy drops dead. I guess they made it harder to kill your allies. I pop 1-2 rifle arounds in a enemy and he'll drop dead. I tried on my friendly AI and he's still alive. -

Says powered by ARMA technology by Bohemia Interactive. Yup, they got the same engine as ARMA.
