    Dwarden, I appreciate a lot the work you did and you are doing for the community But you can't say that the whole post it's invalid, just remove the "finding solutions to your bugs". Modders worked for you for free (on their decisions yes, but because they love this game and this community), letting people enjoying more the game you provided. That's it. I have spended 2 years of my life modding this game each damn day and now I see the doors closed for arma 3, after getting excited for it I just feel like an idiot. Hardly someone will give anymore the same ammount of commitment with STEAM workshop risks. That's what I mean. The ammount of people that travel on steam it's huge, really. Someone could take your contents and put it in some other game and you will never know who did that. That could happnes on Armaholic too, true, but It's really harder and I really doubt that some Arma modder would ever steal your contents. Because we are like a "big family", we have rispect , and we are the usual suspects ;) Nothing against the new players generation around the world, but most of them use steam, and they are a bounch of bastards that don't give a single fuck about anyone. Thats something that didnt touched yet complitly the arma community. I just don't want see the mod where I spended time and energy die. If I'm wrong however, I'm happy.

    That's why I think that you will never seen anymore total conversions for Arma, you will see just small modification such as retextures, maybe maps or some sound replacments. No one want to give their work of years, where they spended health, time , money etc to a big company that own the rights on your work once uploaded to their website. That's crap. BIS can do whatever they want, I'm just saying watch out because it's a minefield. Most of the customers helped improving the game,catching and finding solution to the bugs , giving ideas and immproving the BIS games for free. Now BIS is turning them their back. Give at least a tutelation to the customers, thats what I mean. I accept to be owned by BIS, but not by STEAM. For steam you are just one of the bilions of modders on the earth, because they own em all. For BIS you should be like GOLD. Yes, nothing and no one could stop that.

    The fact is that Arma always have been on steam, but they were providing also boxed copy where you don't need to register to steam. So actually the problem is not for you steam users, I would appreciate if it's you that "shut up and sit down" , because it's you that are going to get your ice cream.

    I wonder how long would live arma without mods, since it's quite poor in terms of contents. Most of the srevers run mods. Most of the hardcore and most of the played communities use mods. as I have seen there are only 2 or 3 server with a cospicious numbers of players running vanilla, and on most of them there are only dick heads players. But you don't give a shit, right?

    If you upload a mod, a file, or a picture once uploaded it's of their property and you don't own any right on them. They are free to sell even informations about you. That's what is nasty. Steam is a bad company.

    Damn, I hate people that say like this. Why do you think we are there complaining, mister sherlcock holms? Because we will not play with it! Face it, Steam it's a pain in the arse. Make arma 3 steam exclusive it's the stupidiest things I have read from BIS. I mean W*** *** **** you have to give the ability to the user to choose. You are forcing us into a system that we dont want join. And you, steam users, you should stay with us and fight with us, because to you don't change a shee if Arma 3 will be released also boxed without necessary to use steam to activate it

  11. A bit of shit went on Hell in the Pacific recently, but as Mr pedersen sed we are working for a great update. Yes, I can't exclude that in a future we will make a M1903A1, also because I will personally rework a bit most of the weapons we have, and if I'll have time I'll try to make an A1 out of that A4. However sadly I can't say when that will happen. Dimitri made an awesome Torpedo script (and also the model) that will be featured in the next update (hopefully) of the mod. So in the future a torpedo bomber will probably fly in arma 2, don't know if a Devastators or a TBF. About the submarines ,well, I wish we could make them but it's not really in our mind. If someone of the community want to make one, however, it's more then welcome! Now let's show something cool. First, we would like to present you our new 3d/2d artist with magnificent skill that decided to help us. his name is Hawk, Hawk_Silk (J.Bond style). We all hope we will be able to have a long collaboration with him!     Mmm why it should take performance when community already made perfectly working 3d scopes mods for Arma 2 without lose any kinda of fps? And wasn't Arma 3 "more optimized" ? +1 to 3d scopes.
  14. Hell yeah, awesome Gnat/Yac!! How much is weird see roofs with antennas, how much is weird see town signs in Russian language, how much is weird see russians fuel pumps on the road, how much is weird see modern hangars on the airfield. The list is big and even Bastogne map suffers. I just think this mod need modelers up for make some static buildings for the map makers, and ,as I already sed, I'm up for that. I hope anybody else is interested Neaville/Merderet map are enough big for play any kinda of battle you want.

  17. Enola gay was a b-29 not a b-17 and the P41 Warhawk (the P40 warhawk) was really hard as far as I know to meet in the European theater... maybe was easier to see it in north africa / Pacific theater. However +1 to the Waco glider :P

  19. seems to be a good start to me farside, keep working on it and maybe make a bigger image ... the fusolage looks very well done however the only strange thing I noticed is how the edges are welded on the wing. In that way you have a bad shading if you need help with it I can give you a couple of shots on how let it looks better ..
