I kept the default config with a 13" barrel and twist 10" but the author just told me that the 3D model has a 14.5", probably an upper from KAC : https://www.knightarmco.com/14711/shop/complete-uppers/sr-25-complete-uppers/sr-25-upper-receiver-kit-cc-14-5-m-lok It's correct for the SR25, 20" barrel. So, little update soon. 🙂 RHS has correct military MK11 and EC variant 3D models. They are just configured as civilian versions with ACE3. -

JCA - M115A3 Compatibility Ace3

With ACE3, the effective zeroing distance is on the range card and only on the range card. Since my first compats, the scopes are configured with an "ACE_ScopeZeroRange". It's very useful with very specific reticles like this one. That means the zeroing will be always the same (100m with JCA scope) even if the player changes the vanilla discreteDistance, intentionally or accidentally, with the both ACE3 ballistics, default and advanced. That has no effect on the bullet trajectory since ACE3 3.12 if i remember correctly (big effect with the 3.11). To be honest, i hesitated to use the sub folder like the ACE3 compats. Perhaps i will do an update with it. Yes, already done, just needs some tests. And many thanks for your comment. 🙂 -
Hello everyone, Ten years later, a sequel to the RHA Armorplates mod by x3kj who shared as free few RHA plates for test. My version uses the same p3d model. I'm not 3D modeler, i just tried to be rigorous with the thickness according to the Bohemia's armour.bisurf and armour_plate_xxmm.bisurf (data_f \ penetration). No texture, icon or pom-pom girls, it's very basic and designed to work for test in-game only and can be found under Props / Things / Targets in the Editor. This version includes the most common thickness used for small calibers: 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 16, 18, 23, 30, 80 mm and an Editor's mission for each one. I highly recommend to use the official tool arma3diag_x64.exe (Arma3 Dev branch) for that. Formula used for "caliber" calculation which gives very good result in-game: Bohemia Wiki. R3F Armes compat ACE3 with new reticle design, courtesy of the R3F Team Description : Basicly, the same ACE3 compat R3F (ballistic part only) from the ACE3 Guithub with some improvements : All reticles reworked to match as possible with all ballistics and to be accurate as possible with their real technical specification, the french military scopes SCROME J4, J8 and J10 in particular. New reticles used by French Special Forces and Police counter terrorism units. AtragMx presets for the R3F PGM, M107, TAC50, FrF2, HK417 20" and the SCARH PR/TPR calibrated with Strelok Pro. Animated rechamber bolt action added with the FrF2, TAC50 and PGM Hécate 2, can be managed with the CBA Weapons Options (OPTIONS - ADDONS OPTIONS). Proper cartridge ejection effect added with bolt action rifles. Ballistics improved : default ballistic according with the Advanced Ballistics. All rifles and pistols have their own MVs (the HK417 12" hasn't got the same MV than the 20" for example). Compatibility with CBA Joint Rails for the R3F scopes, silencers and front rail items. MRT Accessory Functions added for all R3F lampes and pointeurs items, can be managed with the CBA Weapons Options (CONTROLS - CONFIGURE ADDONS). Dispersion improved according with the ACE3 process. Partial Compatibility with the BI's magazineWells and third mods magazineWells (when possible with CUP, NIArms, RHS ...). Just a little thing: the srifle_mas_usm_EBR_F is inherited from the DMR_02_base_F, the .338 MAR10, and configured with the .338 magazineWell (MAR10_338). So the 7.62 M110 has an inappropriate .338 magazine. The "M14_762x51" would be better for your 7.62 M110. -

Project Infinite All in One compat ACE3, courtesy of Bnae Description : A basic ACE3 compatibility mod designed to work with the Project Infinite All in One, also with the stand alone versions by deleting the useless PBOs (recommended) before launching Arma 3 or clicking on the pop-up after launching the game. This little addon requires CBA, ACE3 and Project Infinite All in One. Tested Single Player only (no MP), all feedback are welcome. Hello everyone, i added a specific Ace3 compat for the beautiful stand alone TRG42 by Bnae and works only with it. RUAG Match ammunitions avalable : .338 Lapua Magnum SWISS P Ball FMJ 251gr, AP 260gr, API 263gr and Subsonic 300gr. I tried to configure the API and AP (also FMJ and Subso hopefully) damage and penetration as they should be IRL, so something around 10 - 12mm at 500, 600 meters with the RHA "armour_plate_12mm.bisurf", the official Arma 3 penetration formula and the official Arma 3 Diagnostics Exe ("Shots"). With a caliber=2; the vanilla .338 penetration seems to be a little overpowered, higher value with the .338 LM SWISS P AP caliber=1.310861; Probably not perfect with third mods ... It won't be possible to destroy a tank or an armored vehicle like the NATO Hunter (30mm), CSAT Ifrit and AAF Strider (23mm) but these ammos should do the job against pickup for example. This compat is a compromise with real values (muzzle velocities, ACE_ammoTempMuzzleVelocityShifts) and RUAG documentations (docs folder). The TRG42 is fully compatible with CBA, all "mass" according with Ace3, AtragMx presets calibrated with Strelok Pro. The required Bnae scopes are configured as the AiO compat : Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 16x40 (elevation 140 MOA, 40,7 Mil) and March 8-80x56 values according with manufacturer's datas. Hello, little update because i wasn't happy with my Nightforce NXS Mil-Dot reticles. [v1.71] : release 2021/04/07 Fix lines and dots thickness for NXS reticles Mil-Dot 15x / 22x according with the Nightforce documentation (docs folder). Fix the coordinates and scale of the Glock silencer icon in the inventory. Fix the R3F_30Rnd_556x45_TRACER_SCAR inherited from the vanilla 30Rnd_556x45_Stanag. Update the NXS MIL click values according with the Nightforce USA catalog 2011 (docs folder). Update the .xml translation. No. It's possible that some RHS weapons are closed with the presets but, since the beginning, AtragMx is configured as default with vanilla rifles, for example the 12.7x99 with the Lynx, the .338 with the "Bad news" (MAR-10), the 7.62x51 with the Mk14 Mod1 (Mk18 EBR). In all case, using another rifle means checking and updating if necessary the AtragMx with the correct values. -

Add a Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 according with the McMillan Tactical Products specification (included in doc folder) : NF Second Focal Plane Mil-Dot reticle calibrated 22x, magnification 8-22-32x, zeroing in-game 100 m. Update all Nightforce Field of View according with the official Nightforce documentation (included in doc folder). Update the M107 default ballistic, airFriction recalculated for a gap with AB : 0.1 - 0.2 mRad to 1600 m. Update the Hensoldt 4x and S&B 6x reticles. Hello GM team and congrats for this nice update. Always about the 7,62 round (sorry), i noticed that the typicalSpeed is 200 m/s for all 7,62x51 bullets, except the "gm_bullet_762x51mm_base" 800 m/s (same that the mag's initSpeed). If i understand correctly the typicalSpeed definition and according with the MEN DM41 ballistic (Strelok Pro, MV 800 m/s, ICAO conditions), that means the "hit" of this bullet, in our case 13.76, is full and always the same until approximately 1700 - 1800 meters. I noticed some others weird values with 7,62x54 bullets. Just curious and because some times i'm a little bit surprised with the Arma 3 terminal ballistic, how you manage exactly the typicalSpeed in your mod ? Screenshot from a stable 1.98 Arma 3, GM only :
