User Name: Vasov Age: 30 Location: Indiana Microphone & Teamspeak: Yes (TS3 but could download TS2 for clans still using it.) Also have Ventrillo installed if any clans prefer it over TS. Languages: English Games: Arma 2: OA, PMC (have not purchased BAF yet). Mods: None currently, just running standard install. Would be willing to download clan required downloads of course. Roles Preferred: Newer player in Arma series. Open to pretty much any role. Arma Experience: Been playing the single player campaign on and off for the last few months. Have not spent very much time in multiplayer (probably less then 10 hours). Prefered Clan setting: Laid back, casual atmosphere. I'm married with 2 boys (ages 2.5 and 1). So, I need to be in a group that is welcoming to a casual member. Also need a clan willing to take on new members who are also new to the game and willing to accept newbies.

I just installed PMC over my Arma2:OA install and just tried starting the first mission of the campaign. When the game starts to load into the first cut scene I see the usual black screen that says "receiving". Then I get a pop up that says "Resource Title RscMissionScreen Not Found". I hit the space key on the keyboard and try to skip the cut scene, but of course, it just tries to load the cut scene again and I keep get that error. I tried first launching from the PMC shortcut on my desktop. Then I tried launching Arma 2:OA from it's folder, I checked to make sure I had enabled the PMC expansion, but I still keep getting the same error? Anyone else run into this? Do I need to do a fresh install? I have no other mods or addons installed. It's just vanilla Arma 2:OA patched with the latest patch and PMC installed on it. Thanks in advance for any guidance

Upgraded driver to 195.xx and demo is playing, was also able to keep nhancer and still playing the demo. Demo runs great on new pc so ill beb pickingg up the full game soon.

Hey everyone, new to the forums and first post. I just installed the Arma 2 Demo on my new PC and I keep getting an "Error creating Direct3D Graphical Engine". I'm running Win 7 32bit, nvidia 8800 GTS with 186.18 drivers, and I have downloaded and installed the latest DirectX 9. I'm also using nhancer 2.5.7 to control the GPU. I'm not sure how to fix whatever is causing this error. I read something that said to change your screen resolution to your native resolution in the config file, but when I opened my config file there was no field to edit my resolution (unless I'm overlooking something obvious). This is all there is in my Arma 2 Demo config: language="English"; adapter=-1; 3D_Performance=93750; Resolution_Bpp=32; I'm not sure if it's the 3D_Performance field i'm supposed to edit, and if so to what exactly. Any help sorting out this error would be immensely appreciated. Really want to see how the demo plays on my new computer before buying the full game.
