Im in the works of making a Military-Style Zargabad Life MP mission, complete with Afghan Police and Army whitelists for good cop players. Dont know if I'm going to give it mods yet, though. Maybe keep it with vanilla stuff so players could get hooked to it :) If your interested in it contact me and I will see what I can do...

I am trying to set up a dedi server on my own PC and join it. I do not want anyone else joining it as I am testing a mission (scripts wont work unless it is dedicated). Now I have a problem. I changed the server.cfg to my requirements but all it seems to read is the admin password. I want to be able to fully use the server.cfg. Kinda lame as I have to vote for the mission to start which takes 60 secs each time I need to test. Also, the BE Rcon doesn't connect either, it gets an error.

Well it seems to read the server admin password, as I can log in with that, but as for the names and join password, doesn't work.

I just copied the server template, saved as cfg, and put in the pwords and server name. The most important bit that I need to work is: GLOBAL SETTINGS hostname = "My Server"; password = "etc"; passwordAdmin = "etc"; reportingIP = "armedass.master.gamespy.com"; //reportingIP = arma2pc.master.gamespy.com"; reportingIP = "arma2oapc.master.gamespy.com"; logFile = "server_console.log";

Well, could I atleast have a second chance at playing your mod since I didn't harm the site or the server, and my ban was for a stupid mistake? I didn't even get to try your mod, and entering my age was a mistake (I am sure I typed 20, not 15).

Well, at least you looked into it. I do admit I set up two accounts but that was because I needed contact only. My main priority was to find out why I was Permbanned for age (you could have just banned me untill I became 16, why permban?). Besides, I am not 15 years old anyway.

*TO CITYLIFE 2 ADMINS* Im pissed because I had a ban back when CityLife 2 forums used enjin. I was using an old browser and created a profile the same name as I use now. The forum was really laggy and I couldnt use it. I left and googled why it went too slow. 10 mins later I came back to the CL2 forum, to see what had changed. A message from enjin came up saying: You have been banned from this website. Duration: Perm. Reason: Too young I didnt understand this one bit. Why was I banned for being "too young"? My age was 20 and even if I had entered my age under 16 it would be senseless to ban someone perm for being "too young". Was this some sort of foul joke? Anyway, left and played in other communities, then 3 months later I decided to pay a visit back to the CL2 forums. I created a new account named "Boa". I decided to enquire about the ban I had 3 months ago to the head admin ArmATech (as I thought he would be a responsible chap, not the immature and ignorant twat he turned out to be). I asked, "why was my profile "Double Doppler" banned from the forum?". I had a reply "I dont know who this guy is". I then asked if he could free up the email adress and he said "why should i he is banned". I asked if he could investigate why that profile was banned and he replied "look last time im going to tell you noob HE IS BANNED AND WILL STAY BANNED NOW FUCK OFF". Well, I didnt pm him after that (what a bad and immature mood, something you would not expect from an admin). Anyway I left the website, then returned and I got a "#2000 you are not allowed to visit this website" error. Obviously a website ban. What had I done wrong? I went to TS and asked why I was banned from the forum to ArmATech and I had no reply. 1 minute later I was permbanned from CL2 TS3. This was really fucking immature. The admin was ignorant and ill-tempered, abusing his position and generally a fag from what the performance he showed. All I can say is that the CityLife2 Admins would rather ban then help a guy out. Typical Ignorance.

If you are talking about me that is downright shameful. I wasnt even on the forum/TS3 long enough to do any of those things. I deny 100% breaching any of those subjects and if you want to prove it go look in your admin logs. I bet your to slapdash to do anything like that, though. After all, I'm just a "worthless player", like the other 100 you banned. You can afford to lose us. Well heres a wakeup call, NO YOU CANT, PLAYERS MAKE THE MOD, WITHOUT US YOU WOULD BE DEAD. Now go back to your "epic slander" about giving passowords. If I had done any of the things you falsely accused me of, I wouldnt be writing this. Im not going to argue but I must say that you should check your logs more as you seem to find any excuse to ban someone. If you are going to ban a player for a STUPID REASON AS A JOKE EXPECT HIM TO COMPLAIN. This isn't funny. Its just as well I have a Real-Life otherwise I would be real pissed by now. All I can say is the service on your community is poor and could be much better.

Well im kinda confused as my ban was like a govermental hush hush (no email sent as warnings, no proper reason). Just logged on cl2 forum, then banned without warning, asked why I was banned on ts3 to one of the admins, no reply, then perm banned from ts3 by the admin I was asking. I do not understand what they are on about in this case. Completely confusing and downright rude. What a load of BS

Well, I agree with kage, the admins on CL2 are N*zis. I asked why a friend of mine was banned, (because he was banned for a stupid reason "too young" a perm ban! what sense is that???). Anyway, the admin didnt even bother to look him up and said "HE IS BANNED AND WILL STAY BANNED NOW FUCK OFF WORTHLESS SCUM"! 10 mins later, he banned me from the forums, TS and the game!:butbut: Crazy community, thats all I can say :eek:

Hi, I have been playing ArmA 2 & Arrowhead for a long time and most of the time, I spend on playing RPGs on MP and with this fantastic feature, the Mission Editor. Now I usually get lost in the amount of choices available to the developer during mission editing and end up making my own short skirmishes and conflicts. I sometimes start a battle by placing a squad of soldiers against another squad. And If my side wins I go back to the editor and delete the killed soldiers, and put more enemies or another objective at hand. Sort of like a live Campaign or mission. What would be really great would be if it had a live mission editor (where you could pause the game, add something or deduct just as if you were pre mission editing). A bit like in Operation Flashpoint 2, but better and more straightforward. The mission editor is somewhat one of the best features in the game and it would be great if it could be extended to make live missions.

You know this mod really is awesome! I like the AC130 & the UAV, but could you add an Apache to the option as well? (Apaches fly in circles around their targets too in CAS role, pretty much like the AC130.

But something purley for SP, like in the menu and no need to host a server. Like an option to use the ingame mission editor, but to go back to the editor and change things instead of "Abort"
