    Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem is then. Maybe you could send me one of the missions you're trying to upload and I'll see if it works on my server? Edit: Maybe it's the tool you use to PBO the mission? I know that can cause some issues.
  2. I had a problem with the retail version, I'm not sure if it's a problem with the patch itself but it wouldn't detect my install? I'll look into it further, also a few people on Armaholic are having trouble too (See comments for the patch). -MM

    Hello, Make sure you PBO the files before you upload them, if you "Export to Multiplayer" in the editor, I believe it only copies the mission folder. I'm not entirely sure if that's a fix though. Also make sure that your server has Combined Operations installed if you want to play missions with ArmA 2 content. I hope this helps! :) -MM

  6. Hello, Over the last few days I've been trying to install ACRE onto my server with CBA, I finally managed to get it working after deleting the @Folders and .bikey files and starting again. Since then I've tried to reinstall those .bikey files, but when I enter my server it kicks me off saying "You were kicked off the game". No other details were given. It does allow me into the server if I run my game without addons, but I want to get around this problem, though I'm not exactly sure what's causing it. A few details: - Installed under /Keys in the root folder. - Server is running 1.57. - Server is running Combined Operations. - No beta patches running. - Signature checks is set to "1" in the configuration file. - Addons server side: @CBA; @ACRE; @DooLittleACS; @Zeus_AI; - Every addon that I'm running has it's .bikey file on the server. Here are the .bikey file names (List needs touching up though): acre.bikey ADUKE.bikey amt.bikey ARD.bikey bi.bikey C1987.bikey cba_b151.bikey cba_oa_b4.bikey Chill.bikey CSM2.bikey davo.bikey eliassound2_2010.bikey ExA.bikey FtmchTier1.bikey gl4.bikey GLT_ADDONS.bikey jayarma2lib.bikey JDG.bikey jsrsfa.bikey MANDO_.bikey MkXIII.bikey namman.bikey okt.bikey RHI.bikey shacktac.bikey Shezan74.bikey SJB.bikey soa110.bikey TracersWAR.bikey WarFXLighting.bikey warfxpe.bikey warFXsunlight.bikey zeu.bikey zeu_test.bikey I'm really not sure where to go from this, any help would be greatly appreciated.     So maybe people who are running standalone OA instead of what the server is running (CO), can't detect the keys? I'll change it now, just to be sure. -MM

    I've found out that when I take a few of my addons off (Doesn't matter which ones they are), it works. But when I have them all on it doesn't. Very confusing. ---------- Post added at 02:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:35 AM ---------- Problem fixed, spent a long time trying each addon on the server. It turns out to be the aDukes helicopter positioning addon, every other addon works except this. Very strange, the files are fine so it must be a script conflict (Maybe the fast ropes). Anyway, I hope this helped anybody in the same situation. /Topic can be locked?

    How often do you play and for how long for? I try to play everyday, 4-6 hours. What do you play most? Original, OA, BAF or PMC? All. Are there any must have MODs for you? J.S.R.S, ShackTactical Movement/HUD, Zeus AI. What utilities/additional hardware help assist you? Logitech G19 (G Keys help alot), Mouse buttons for TeamSpeak & Game chat. Do you play singleplayer or multiplayer the most? Multiplayer. If you play multiplayer, what server(s) do you play on? Clan, favourite or random? 1Para, 5CR. What's your favorite role and pet hate when playing multiplayer? Pilot. People not clearing all grids behind before moving up (Insurgency) & Sad people who use childish, immature "hacks" to spoil the game.

    Thanks for all the work you put into this JDog. One slight problem though, the tractor will only tow aircraft that have been placed onto the carier with setPos, if I place an aircraft down on the land, fly it over to the carrier and then try to tow it, the action isn't available. I've also tried to set the land aircraft to 0 height, then when I try to tow it on the carrier, it explodes taking all aircraft in the hangar with it. Is there any way around this? Thanks!

    Hi again, I suggest you take a look at this, as I assume that you're not activating the addon folder. I'll also recommend a game launcher, I use Alpinestars, it's pretty much fool proof. :p If you need any more help then you could message me. -Moose

    OA Crown Victoria/Police mod?

    Operation Arrowhead uses the same engine as ArmA 2 but different character class names (This is why you'd get the "Bad Vehicle Type" error). You should be able to place the Crown Vic down under Empty>Cars or a similar path. I don't have the said addon but I'm sure it's the same, just like all the others. Edit: I forgot which section this was in but: I'm not meaning to back-seat moderate but it keeps the place tidy. :) Kind Regards Moose

That would be amazing if that was included with the carrier, it would require a lot of work though. Also the AI need to be able to walk around. -MM

    With a lot of working out and training. If you want to be able to jump onto buildings of MBTs then I suggest you go play BFBC2 as ArmA 2 is a simulator. As said above, it's very hard to jump in combat gear. Think about it, you have your rifle; 25KG bergen; vest w/ammo; a helmet and much much more. Also especially in hot climates you need a lot of water so you don't dehydrate. -MM

    Hi swissMAG, That would be fantastic if it was possible to stop the aircraft like that, but I'm thinking that if it's an object (The Barricade) then wouldn't the aircraft just explode once it made contact with it? Although it might be possible with a lot of scripting, I'm not sure. Regards Moose

    Hi PoorOldSpike, I'm guessing that you changed the config values so I've just got a quick question, is it really slow to accelerate when taking off in forward flight? Here's a little video of the problem. I'm not sure how to fix it. Regards Moose

    Arma 2 Addon request thread

    Hi, I've just been watching a few old videos on Youtube and came across these amazing clips: I'm pretty sure it would be possible in ArmA 2 but I don't know the first thing about making addons. Anyway here's what I was thinking: 1. Helicopter lands in water, just enough to cover the ramp with water. 2. Boat speeds up the Chinook's ramp (The ramp would need to be usable). 3. Boat the would maybe snap into place in the centre of the Chinook. 4. Crew of the boat would then be teleported to the Chinook's rear seats. 5. Ramp would then need to be closable by the pilot/crew through the action menu. I'm not sure what else to say, but if I have any ideas then I'll edit this post. So if anybody has the knowledge and tools to take on this challenge please get in touch, I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy this!

    Thanks for clearing that up for me guys, so I suppose the heavier it is the faster it would have to land, is that right? That must be very intense, landing on a moving carrier within a time limit though. :eek: Moose
