AFAIK, you can't spoof your UID in ArmA3. In ArmA2 (and possibly earlier) the UID was linked to your CD-Key. There were many ways of spoofing the UID. Seeing as of how there is no CD-Key since it's linked to Steam now, there are fewer methods to spoof. -

Just thought I'd bump this as it's still an issue. I've made a tracker very early during the alpha and the devs didn't know how to reproduce it (even though I gave them the script...) -

How about attaching a grass-cutter to the bottom of the vehicle when in first person? Also aside from this, do say3D for a vehicle while in first person and it sounds very quiet as if it's played from outside. Do it in 3rd person and it's louder. It's been like that since ArmA2 (possibly before then too). It would be nice to have say3D applied to a vehicle emit at normal volume if the player is in first person whilst inside. -
It's funny how those script kiddies think they're the shit, but in reality they can't write a simple script. People have added me on Steam asking me how to "godmode" or "teleport". I just facepalm every time and block them. It's also funny when I look at certain websites that have a "serious" hacking community for ArmA, yet none of them know the basics of the scripting language and recycle upon scripts they find in missions or mods.

I'm still waiting for actual changes in ArmA3 compared to its previous installments -- better visuals are good, but IMHO there's nothing new in ArmA3 or atleast nothing mind-blowing that can't be done in ArmA2. (No disrespect to the devs, you guys are the only true PC devs I'd ever support, I'd just like to see more innovation)

Some good news: A good person has given me access to their dedicated server, and now I can host the mission! I am still thinking of a way that allows freedom, but keeps control of where things are placed. For example, I have it so you can't build near the police station or Agia Marina.

You need to download the folder, then change the serverID variable located in serverID.sqf. It's been a busy week for me, so development has been at a stand-still, but should resume this weekend! I plan on creating a construction job for civs and a base builder for police. Both will be able to create bases, towns, fortifications, etc.

Oh, then your fps in multiplayer wouldn't be any higher then. My fps in singleplayer is usually 50+

That's odd, my framerate is always high. I have noticed that on certain servers that my fps was 15 and on others, smooth as butter.

Updated the mission. Admins must edit the server ID located in serverID.sqf This is crucial for stat saves and failure to change it will leave the mission nonfunctional.

Yea, I thought they were synchronized. I saw other players in animations set with switchMove, and it showed on my screen, but sometimes it does nothing. Weird :\ Hopefully my finding is correct, if so then :D BTW, I tested your script, it's a good touch - but as said earlier, lacks a variety of animations. I'm sure we're all waiting for that ragdoll command >.<
