IIRC wind is now synced with all clients. So there may be engine limitations. This idea would require local weather commands to work correctly. -

Due to the limitations of the engine, the weather is local to each client and clients won't see what other clients see, unless they were in the same area. So due to that, it may seem inconsistent, but the simulation of realtime weather and time is welcomed. -

All development usually takes place during Friday and the weekends, after work xD Not trying to work up any sympathy, but college tuition is also quite hefty, so any prize money that I could get from this contest would definitely help out. I'm still happy to pick up the FFIS project and give the community hope in the AI! :P -

I do like the idea of having tanks fire upon buildings. Given certain conditions, units may surrender and will be restrained with their weapons taken from them. Units that are unconscious should also be able to get restrained by the enemy. Also following rules of engagement, wounded units out that are incapable of combat will not be fired upon and should be medically helped and captured by opposing forces when the area is deemed safe. Addition: Body armor is now effective. Shots to the torso will have reduced damage. Going unconscious will cause the unit to drop their current weapon (lose grip). The unit's weapon can be shot out of their hands. Good night :) -

Just witnessed the AI effectively using their grenades thanks to my code :) I was inside of a house, firing upon the enemies, and I hear a "thud" of a grenade land on the floor next to me. The enemy threw a grenade through the window and killed me :O Also added in unconscious states. If a unit takes a considerable amount of damage from a source, then they will become unconscious, lying on the ground for a time upwards to a minute. Players can also lose consciousness, the screen will black out and all sound is muted. Regarding infinite ammo: FFIS1 had infinite ammo for units only when they were in the suppression state. Regarding snipers: If I recall correctly, snipers tend to shoot then move. I will mimic this behavior. One of the big things about last night's code organization is that it allows me to assign tactics to their own function so other scripters in the community can easily modify the existing tactics or create new ones. This also allows side dependent tactics to be possible. I'll consider AI looting as an addition to the system. Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk -

Addition: Basic Drill, AI Grenade Throwing (If the nearby enemy is behind cover, the AI will throw a grenade at their position). -

Progress: Confirming that the Basic Drill tactic makes AI very effective in CQB. Be prepared to take cover when engaging against the enemy! The AI react very quickly and deadly. -

Scrapped most of the AI behavior code in favor of going for a realistic approach using actual military tactics. Also improved the organization of the code. -

I'm not sure that it's possible to add new waypoints in the editor, but I'm sure you'll be happy to know that AI do utilize buildings in my mod. -

I remember saying, "man, ArmA3 has the best looking clouds out of every game!", and now I'm thinking why I would even say that, the clouds looks like shit. Now I remember why I used to say they were awesome (because they were).

I am trying to keep my code as optimized as possible. A system like this would be demanding in nature, but I'm doing my best. The system will take a few seconds to load all the data in, but after that, it's all real-time from there. -
