Hi I used to have both arma 2 and operation arrowhead installed and working fine. However i reformatted recently and i've just got round to installing my games. I've decided not to bother installing Arma 2 and instead just install Operartion Arrowhead (sprocket version). The install of OA (1.52) went fine but when i try and update it using the 1.54 patch found here http://www.arma2.com/index.php?Itemid=20&option=com_rokdownloads&view=folder〈=en i keep getting an error message saying "Error found in file ALL\ARMA2OA.EXE" I've no idea what caused it. One thing which is slightly different to when i had both Arma 2 and OA installed was that i had them installed to program files\bohemia whereas when i install just OA it installs it to program files (x86)\bohemia I have no idea if this is relevant to my problem but thought id mention it anyway. Im running windows 7 64 bit btw Any help would be appreciated !

i've played both previously but playing against ai just doesn't appeal to me and im also not a fan of the current pvp found in armas multiplayer.... but i know the PR team will make something proper which encourages teamwork hence why im reinstalling it.

will give that a try as for only installing OA... im only installing it for the forthcoming project reality mod, thats the only time i will ever play arma.

Hi When i start up OA with the latest verison of this mod enabled i get the following message Addon "JSRS_AAVP" requires addon "CAWeapons_bizon" Anyone know how i sort this problem out ??

nooby question... when i start up Operation Arrowhead with latest version of ACE i get the following message... script userconfig\ACE\settings.ace not found i don't seem to have that file i only have ace_Clientside_config.hpp ace_keys.hpp ace_serverconfig.hpp ace_tracking.hpp anyone know where i can get the file ?

small company or not they need to drastically updated their engine or come up with a new one because its shockingly bad/limited in numerous ways. sad thing is so many arma fans are used to the extremely poor engine and for some reason think its good enough, so used to having low standards i guess !

oh ok, sorry. cheers but is there any chance of you putting them in the boxes because quite frankly i don't have the first clue how to add them manually... seems kinda awkward way of doing things, ammo box method was a lot more user friendly for people like me who don't really know the first thing about stuff like this !

i've posted the above a few times now and never get a response... DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE, so many people here using ACE and not one person can confirm if they have this problem or not !!!

where have all the guns in previous ACE 2 versions gone ??? There were tons of guns in the ACE ammo boxes when i used to use it with Arma 2, now in this version there seem to be hardly any in comparison ? where are all the M4 variations for example ? have they not been ported over yet ??

what time of year do you have to play (with effects module running) to get the sand storms ???

Please can someone answer the first question !!! desperate to know if i have it installed correctly or not ???

Hi, I have a few questions. 1. when i place the ace ammo crates and then check them they seem to be missing half of the guns that were in the arma 2 version of ACE ? is this normal ? im missing all the guns with the ace eotech/holo sights etc. there were many more guns in the arma 2 version of ACE than i am seeing in this OA version... am i doing something wrong ?2 2. i find the gear menu to be kinda weird to control, its almost as if something is trying to take over my mouse. Sorry if these questions have already been answered but i dont have time to read the whole thread !! any response would be appreciated !
