Just out of interest where has this been confirmed? I have been looking for information one way or another on it.

User Monetization of BI's games Audio&Video content(YoutTube,Twitch Partnership etc.)
jsmuk replied to Dwarden's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE: Web-Pages
This might have been mentioned before but I didn't find anything in the search, I (at the moment) am not monetizing any ArmA videos on my channel however WMG have decided to place ads on one of my ArmA videos due to a ContentID detected song. Is this an issue? -
The map I am using seems to use buildings from Takistan (and some OPX ones but they don't have insides so caches can't be spawned anyway) so I assume the one from Takistan should work. Do you happen to know if it causes an issue if there are "valid" buildings that don't exist on the map? Edit: It seems (from placing random diag_log in various places) that initserver.sqf is not being run.

This might have been mentioned before but I couldn't find anything when I searched. I am trying to port this to another map and AI seems to spawn perfectly and stuff but the caches are non existent, I always get told there are no caches in the AO and with the markers on there is a black triangle at 0,0. When I check with the thing on the radio in the map it says all 9/9 caches have been destroyed. Any ideas?

A.C.R.E - Advanced Combat Radio Environment - 1.4 Stable - Release Thread

That isn't a very nice teaser :( All it does is leave us with questions!! -
Ah okay, is there any way around it? I notice that they seem to work with the explorer thing so I have been able to test it using that (really useful tool!).
-
Firstly, sorry if this has already been asked and answered but I had no luck searching the thread. I have a DLL which has other DLL's associated with it, and they seem to fail to load. I have tried putting them in the same folder as my DLL, and the @ArmA2NET folder yet it still fails. Am I doing something wrong, or missing something obvious? This is my log from fusion

British Armed Forces: Bowman Radio System - an ACRE plugin
jsmuk replied to tupolov's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Does this mean the ComSec dial actually does something? I assumed it was just a nice well made interface that looked the part, haven't actually had the chance to test yet. So how does it work? Does it just change frequency? -
From what I have seen posted on the BISim forum you can't get ArmA2 content into VBS2, despite all the advertising. It seems that they might be adding that stuff in a future update. As for xaitment, I think its just there but not activated. It is a separate product that requires its own licence.
-
Have you registered on the BISim forum? There's some links to small communities on there.

It would be $500 (or whatever the PE price is, I assume its close to $500 now) per person, the HASP key is (as far as I understand) included in the price of the licence, it the thing you are buying after all. The HASP key allows VBS2 (and the tools etc) to load while its plugged in, so for every copy of VBS2 you want to run you have to have one licence (with a HASP key) for each copy.

UO have managed it, maybe not always with respawn but there have defiantly been 80+ player missions (both coop and TvT) with ACRE that work flawlessly. -
This is where a tiny bit of trig comes into it allowing you to work out the distance between two grid squares.

-snip- Apparently I am blind, disregard this post.

Hey nou / anyone else working on the CCIP/CCRP system, Any chance we will ever get CCRP on LGBs? Taking all of the guess work out of dropping them would be such an awesome thing. No idea if it could work in ArmA but in DCS it makes life so much easier. Also GPS guided JDAMs would be equally cool, a mod I tried ages ago attempted it but not in a way that was nice to actually use. I honestly think the CCIP/CCRP system is probably the most useful thing added for pilots in a long time, people actually hit stuff now!

I have a weird issue that I wonder if you can solve. In our little group of players we have one person who can be heard perfectly fine on TS out of game but as soon as we get in game we have to pretty much stand on top of them to be able to understand what they are saying. Its just so quiet, its not much better over the radio. Any ideas? -
Guessing seems fun, is it the M777?
-
The item you are loading has to be at a certain point, I think its near the back.
-
I'd assume its to stop people doing just that. I assume the gunner is meant to sit there keeping an eye on the level to make sure it hasn't shifted from the previous firing (does any mortar other than the tampella actually do this?)
-
Hey, Have I gone mad or is there no longer a fire on load option for the mortars? About to post it as a ticket on DH (or find one anyway) but just wanted to check first.
-
Thank you for both the links, the videos I found before only explained it for the old T/E system.
-
I seem to remember them, tried searching for it and got about a million results. Its the downside of many ~200 page threads on the subject I guess :(
-
Is there any instructions (either tailored for ACE or RL but work) for how to properly use the mortars? Iv managed to get them to hit targets but I am struggling to understand how to hit targets when they are shifted left or right to hit things that are outside of the narrow arc of the mortar.

LEA - Loadout Editor For ArmA 2 Combined Operations and ACE 2
jsmuk replied to major_shepard's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : Community Made Utilities
Am I going mad or are the ACE mine markers not in the list? The actual post is but the thing that is placed onto it (either an arrow or a warning sign) don't seem to be in the list. -
ArmA, view distance and the curvature of Earth
jsmuk replied to dragon01's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
As far as I know VBS2 has this exact feature so I don't think it would be that much effort for it to end up in ArmA3.
