Great idea Joe98. -
JojoTheSlayer, I have strange little problem. Using VAC and your profile for OA. When testing the mic in vacbuilder all work great, but when in the game some just to not seem to work. I defaulted the OA controls to use with your profile. Question is, why does the CROUCH work, but not the STAND UP or GET UP or even the PRONE commands?

What files should be used? Is there a final full release somewhere?

I found VAC --> http://www.dwvac.com/ -
assigning key presses in the game is as clumsy as it gets.

I installed VAC yesterday and also found your profile. However I haven't done anything with VAC until just now. What did you do go get this VAC to work JojoTheSlayer?? Works on when test in builder. I know how to set the system selections in the try program. Should I default all controls to use your profile? -

I tried Say2Play and it is really confusing to use it. The demo is only for one game which I don't have. lol I uninstalled it in about ten minutes. I used to use GameCommander waaayy back but they are looonng gone. ---------- Post added at 08:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:00 AM ---------- There is also Shoot, but it will not work on my computer. It needs .Net 1.1 and .Net 1.1 will not install on my computer. I have .Net 2 through 3.5 installed. Supposedly after installing .Net 1.1 and Shoot there is a little patch Shoot executable to make is work with .Net 2. -
I am trying to get back into this game which I never spent much time on in the past. I have been watching a lot of videos from player's recordings and I notice that many have next to no sway. However when I play I have a lot more. Why is this?

Yes AA appears to be working on my system. What O/S are you using? Are you overclocking your video card? try these: 2x [2x Multisampling] 4x [4x Multisampling] 4xS [Combined: 1x2 SS + 2x MS (D3D only)] -

I believe the speckles are from Anisotropic Filtering. Try different AF values, I use 16. AA seems to be working for me. I have no speckling at all. W7 x64, GTX480 w/266.58 driver release. -
Thanks!

Good point about the unit icons.

This might help some peeps using Windows 7. However it doesn't help me. lol Go to control panel>sound>communications and check "do nothing". OR try this below (works for me) change the values for the two lines below that are in the '[playername].ArmA2OAProfile' file volumeFX=20; volumeSpeech=20; I increased values 5 and 6 to 20 and 20 and it makes a big difference. I assume the sound scaling is way off in the game.
