I have installed ver 149 and still no hearbeat function working for me, the one thing i did notice from the link you supplied to show that its working, is your "wording" on the cfg file in your hearbeat area of the cfg it shows BanFile and in the config example it shows it as BePath i read in the change log that you can schedule this,as this is the only way i will get it to work, could you please give an example as i really not got a programming bone in my body
  2. getting no errors at all, still not heart beating bec is being run as a administrator the problem i am having seems to be lost in translation I am using Battlewarden rcon to ban players, i expected a ban to heartbeat when a ban is imposed, but saying that if a player is caught using a gamehack on 1 server its not being heartbeated to the other ban files, now i stripped this program out, removed it from the firewall, reinstalled it give it permissions in the firewall and still not responding the server is running windows r2 enterprise
  3. ok tested this through the night still not heart beating itself on manual bans or gamehacks
  4. @ nuxil have you manged to find the problem ? @ xmarksthescot- not saying that this is your problem, but it was my problem, if you check the error logs it may help in finding the problem
  5. Try looking in your admin reporting error files or errors folder, i had same issue it was my admins and command files
  6. only thing i can see in the error folder is Config Error : DisallowPlayerNameChars has no Chars set. DisallowPlayerNameChars will be ignored which i have sorted, dont see anything relating to ban reporting failure these are the banfile listed as per BePath1 = D:\xx\xxx\xxx\xxx\server1\BattlEye\bans.txt BePath2 = D:\xx\xxx\xxx\xxx\server2\BattlEye\bans.txt BePath3 = D:\xx\xxx\xxx\xxx\server3\BattlEye\bans.txt
  7. ok have managed to get this running today, it was a firewall issue, dunno why it did but never mind have been testing this today for a few hrs and i cannot still get any bans to heartbeat over to the other ban files I am using rcon (battlewarden ) to ban on server 1 expecting it to be transferred to 2-3-4 via heartbeat, ban file paths are all correct any ideas ?

Have ran with the new 1.48 had to sadly take it off My admins listed in the Admins.xml where unable to use there commands !kpl -!btk, just refused to work, unless you have changed the admins.xml from 1.471 to 1.48 Also the bans implemented where not heartbeating over to other ban files for the short time i used it

Always welcome new versions, but having some issues with this one, none of the bans will write over to other ban files in the hearbeat function, my paths are correct as they have been checked over and over,same paths used in previous versions and its worked ok as well, but will not work in this version

    the addon is gtdmod, first place i looked at was six updater, have downloaded dsutils v2 but unsure how to make,generate v2 keys

    If i run a server with verifysignatures=2 and have a mod that only works with verify=1 is there any way i can convert it to work with verify=2 ?

Many thanks for the additions reading through the posts, you really need to make things a bit clearer, as players will just rent servers not knowing a great lot regarding admin features or generally how to do anything so i hope i have this correct in your folder where you have BE Server.dll (generally called Battleye folder ) Make a new txt file called scripts.txt In that folder your suggesting it could be populated with 1 createVehicle 1 setVehicleInit 3 serverCommand 4 godmode 3 Bo_Mk82 3 #shutdown 7 disableUserInput true Now reading in the posts some have different views on what should be here for various gametypes domi,warfare etc it would help from the more experienced admins if they could give some better examples on what should be in the sripts.txt file, as someone has already highlighted people will use the first post and take it as what it should be the scripts log will this be generated when a detection occurs ? or do you have to generate the file yourself ? where is it located ? This is a fantastic addition to arma and i hope it continues, but as i have said above things need to made a bit clearer for admins that have very little understanding, remember we were all there was upon a time
  17. Since i updated the OA servers to 1.60 its showing a yellow question mark icon on the server list, looking down the list there are a few servers also showing this as well, people can get in and play, is there anyway that i can turn this green?

Hello hope someone can help me currently i have netlogs running on my server, works a treat,logs everything in a file called "net.log", but have noticed that due to high numbers of players on the server its becoming a busy file I was recently told to use the logfile command instead, as this would only log players details as when they come into the server rather than logging everything i have inserted into my server.cfg file logfile="arma2.log"; Turned off netlogs and ran the game, cannot see a arma2.log file anywhere ran it with netlogs on,also cannot see it anywhere can someone point me in the general direction to help me with this or is there any other way of logging players detail in/out of the server

Hi Since the launch of $able's Bercon, life has been great for server admins, then soner has brought along his rcon tool, which is more windows based, yet again a fantastic tool for the sevrer admins, but that seems to be it. both tools are good up to a point,working great, then overnight it all changed I have to assume that some protocols have changed in Arma 2, are these going to be given out so these admin tools can be finished off ? More has to be done to help admins in trying to combat the idiots that are out to to destroy servers.
  22. Signatures enabled, and set to v2 only yes? keys\bi.bikey removed? Not removed but can do that do Limited set of additional allowed signatures? Limited set of Mods? No mods running its vanilla BattlEye enabled, and config files secured? Yes and yes there way off the regular path I will monitor it this week and report next weekend

This may the wrong place to put this,So I appologise if its tn the incorrect place , as there seems to be a few threads relating to this I have my Arma 2 servers on v2 keys And its still be populated by cheats and hackers, as in respawn of the nimitz above base, server shutting down for no reason these are what i have seen this weekend particular on screen mesage relating to katy.de for cheats ans wanting money

    WarFX : Blastcore

    Hi I have to assume that the blastcore mod here is for client side only ? and the server side only carries the keys Reason for asking is the i have all the keys in expansion/keys folder and its kicking people for " Wrong signature for file @WarFX-Tracers\addons\tracerswar.pbo " anyone come accross this ?
