Installed and working fine, game feels alot smoother and the server seems to like it too. Another top job I think, well done. :)

For anyone getting the install errors, we've found a solution... Copy the patch file to your main Arma2 directory and install it from there. EDIT: seems this isn't a solution after all, apollogies. :( suicidesquad.co.uk

Realistic??? :eek: Coming from people sat there with a cam net over their PC, cam cream on their faces and customer loyalty cards to the army surplus stores. Here's the realism, the auto return should simulate muscle tension so unless you're some 2 stone whimp, you're not "in true reality" going to get alot of recoil and definately no weapon climb. Let's go for true reality rather than someone's assumption and movie watching experience.

Those words again "Realistic" & "Realism". Why don't we be "Realistic" and call it gameplay? The "Gameplay" was fine as it was, many people prefer the original "Gameplay" to the so called new "Realistic" or should i say "Try hard" gimmicks being added for the wannabe war veterans. Make the game too irritating and it will lose it's appeal.

"I thought this game was about realism and the feeling of war." How is this possible on a screen? how can you possibly simulate muscle tension/reactions with a mouse and keyboard? Since when did an M4/M16 and many other weapons climb? Why is it that some people believe that better game play is to restrict the player as much as possible? I'll go for making it an option as realism gimmicks are going to put OA under the delete key.
