    well, I asked those people to try Arma2, and this is what I get from them, oh no, its too slow! you die its over! the bullet dont hit the target at long distance (LOL) you cant jump oh noes! flyng a chopper is too difficult no way! woot? you cant shoot while running? etcetcetc

    but yeah COD4 have that FTPthing for custom maps/mods, but in Arma2 you need diferent setup at the start of the game to join an specific server, and if you play in many servers with different addons, i dont know... maybe something to implement Addonsync with Arma2Launcher without restarting the game?

    well yes, I also have that problem and quit trying to join those custom servers. But I play only 1 or 2 a week in my community, and I dont need or want to play in pubs servers, maybe PR. I saw a topic talking about automatic download addons, I think its crazy because sometimes you need a tons of GBytes to download. If they are not smart enough to ask in forums or maybe join some community to play this game/sim... well they better stay away from this, they just want everything served on a plate, this is not their kind

    EDIT: and omg! im not trying to sound rude, pro, whatever... It would be really good if devs found a solution to make all happy... but, hey! they release Arma2 FREE and... they still choose codbf3style games

    imo for the complexity of Arma2 the controls are fine and good enough, you can use keys to navigate the command menu or also the mouse wheel and click.

    and as 160thsoar says, I have a good mouse with 7 buttons to configure for the most used commands and actions, also a custom keyboard that have buttons everywhere for easy access

    the only truth and short version is, most people(gamers) wants to shoot, run, and respawn over and over, to shoot run kill and die. and also people wants scores and k/d

    When you see on some gamers forums talking about games like COD or BF3 they talk about realism, and recoil, and shit like that, then you mention Arma2 and they say, wow, that is too much of realism lol

    This is a game/sim for people who loves it, and understand it. I think it haves to like you from the beginning, otherwise it never going to be your game/sim because form the start Arma2 is alittle bit frustrating, difficult, hardcore, also harwdware demanding. You should ask your friends why they dont like, why did they quit Arma2

    EDIT: and dont get me wrong, I play COD4 and BF3 a lot too!

    wow! very nice mission!

    I played with ACE to refuel my vehicle that was almost empty of fuel, took me about half hour to fill the tank, checking every car in the villages, then suddenly shooting comes from everywhere and I died :s

    Would be cool a coop mission

    Watched about 4 seconds then tuned it off because of the music ---

    The lyrics in that song have some connection with our actual community, first, the leader of the initial community say fuckUall, changes all the rules and nobody likes that so we leave, then, a faggot named MonoVDD (he made a script EODmyDOg or something like that, be carefull if you use his stuff, he may hack you too) that we thought he was a nice guy and a loyal friend hacked our new website shutting it down, deleting many stuff on it, but we still here. Anyway, I dont like metal style too much but this one is not that noisy... whatever...
