  2. Before getting Arma 3 Alpha/Beta keep in mind that you are not pre-ordering so steam will not give you a refund! Yes number of people have posted that Steam is declining all refund requests saying this is not a Prerelease and that you are just paying for access! So if you get it now you are getting access to the alpha now, to the beta and the release when they come out. Having said that I purchased it, I have not asked for my money back. Yes their are serious problems, same or worse than Arma 2, hackers are beginning to take over the servers and there is no way that I know of to stop them other than leave the server and look for another one and the release runs horribly slow framerate even with the very best hardware and that most likely will not get fixed in Arma 3 as it was not fixed in Arma 2 , its just worse now, because it would require a big effort that there is not enough time for. Other than those two things this is the very best Arma release. So if you love arma inspite the flaws this puppy is for you. I got my copy and am getting my $33 worth one way or another ;)

ARMA 3 Alpha - Java Virtual Machine

sorry to repeat this post here in and heli game, but i am not sure if different projects / people. hi with your java support did you have to write a lot of jni code to get back to your engine or sqf, other c/win32, ect. if so you may want to take a look at Jenie something I created a long time ago for Java. it allows you to call native api and they call back and pass back and forth and manipulate complex data structures without having to write any JNI code! check it out! if you like use it, just dont forget i'm the one that slaved to create all that java/c/c++ code :) http://mjgoya.blogspot.com/p/servertec-software-projects.html

  6. yeah that is a problem with a lot of software when you do an uninstall they tend to leave behind lots of registry entries and files all over the place.. the thing to do is run something like registry cleaner, free software, download.com and go to /users/<user> and search for arma and bi and /program files (x86)/<i dont know the folder name> so search for arma and bi and manually delete the folder it leaves behind. be warned you will loose your save games and settings, but hey u wanted to remove the old version and then reboot the box do a nice clean install yeah it sucks
