Everyone will get a lite version anyway if they do the same as they did with BAF. :D The new update seems to work fine btw. -

My ArmA2OA.RPT file says it updated BattleEye to 143 but the server requires 144. I've updated from the BattleEye.com site, from the updater and used a copy from people that can play on our server but it still says BattleEye initialisation failed. I'm using the 1.55 Steam Version of Arma2/OA and running as CO. I've done everything list in this thread - as have others in my community to no avail. We ended up just playing without BattleEye turned on. -

How does the OA Module "Ambient Civilians (Expansion)" work? I stick in on an OA map but never see any. -

I did search for "Ambient Civilians" and found nothing about the expansion version. The .sqm file only has the one Alice version - that for OA. There is very little going on in the mission and I've been inside the buildings - I've never encountered any civilians. Also this is locally rather than on a dedicated server. -

Well the Arma2 one worked just by placing it anywhere on the map for the entire island. -

Hope it gets fixed soon. I really want Civilians hiding among enemy forces in this Zargabad village. -

Actually I've found all you need to do is verify, run Arma2, run OA (this makes sure your system knows the correct paths and you have the current files) then you just stick whatever parameters into set launch options and it works fine whenever you launch CO. I'm still unsure how to run the Beta though as previous to run the Beta for Arma2 I needed to use a shortcut. Is there a way to run it plus Mods plus Arma2? -

Works fine for me and we have a server running with Arma2 and OA stuff. How is the CO version different from having bought OA and Arma2 separately anyway? -

No you're not, you bought it from Direct to Drive. Combined Operations just launches them together. -

Verify the cache, restart both then try again I believe is supposed to work. -

Fixed the issue. Although -nosplash is still messing things up for me in the batch file and I still don't know how to run the beta from the batch file. -

From the default batch file "%ARMA2OAPATH%\ARMA2OA.exe" "-nosplash -mod=%ARMA2PATH%;%ARMA2OAPATH%\EXPANSION;ca;@CBA;@A2T_X" would something like the following work: "%ARMA2OAPATH%\ARMA2OA.exe" "-nosplash -mod=%ARMA2OAPATH%\EXPANSION\beta;%ARMA2PATH%;%ARMA2OAPATH%\EXPANSION\beta\Expansion;ca;@CBA;@A2T_X" -

The Combined Operations option for OA works fine for me but it leaves the command window open so I just run it from the batch file still. The weapons are unrealistic how? The only odd thing I find is that the KSK/US Special Forces neither have AT weapons as default that I can see. -

I run OA via Steam = no Arma2 :mad: I run OA via that batch file = Arma2 :) This is what's suppose to happen until Steam gets the fix? I'm quite happy to do it this way but just want to make sure I'm not somehow missing something. -

Am I doing something wrong? Arma2 now shows up in Expansions for OA but isn't enabled and the enable button is faded out as such.
