  1. I am requesting that someone work on more modern vessels in use by the US Navy. I am aware of the USS Nimitz which is a work in progress and is absolutely beautiful so far. I am also aware of the LHD which someone put in game, and the frigates put in by Gnat (which are actually exceptionally functional and nice). I would simply like to see different classes of amphibious assault ships, guided missile cruisers, destroyers, subs, whatever anyone has an interest in making.   2. How could it be that there is still no F/A-18 addon in this game? Am I missing something? I know they worked on one for ANZAC, or I thought they did, but I don't see it anywhere. Any others close to finished? Something? idk it's such a kick ass jet I hate that it's not represented here.

  7. I wasn't saying he was weak for not wanting to spend the money, I was saying it's just disappointing not to see the truck in game. Sorry for the confusion, feel free not to assume the worst of me in the future too though.
  8. I totally understand, but that's weak. Haha how could someone not want the HEMTT? Everyone look at my previous post, there's no way you can say that's not an important addition. I'm just looking for a little support here because I'd love to see this vehicle in game, it'd add a ton of realism, an unprecedented level of depth, and some function especially in a logistics/support situation.

  10. What are the chances of you making the HEMTT 5 ton truck? Some variation ideas: M977 and M985 cargo trucks carry all types of equipment, especially ammunition. A crane is mounted at the rear of the vehicle. M978 tanker refuels tactical vehicles and helicopters in forward locations. M983 tractor tows the trailer-mounted MIM-104 Patriot missile systems. M983 with 30 KW generator and a crane mounted behind the cab towed the MGM-31 Pershing Erector Laucher in CONUS (a MAN tractor was used in West Germany). M984 recovery vehicle uses a lift-and-tow system to recover disabled vehicles in two-to-three minutes.   12. Hey madbull, sorry this took so long. I tested two previous missions with ACE that worked prior to this test. I would assume by this deduction that it must have something to do with ACE, but I really don't know anything about this. Is anyone else having a hard time getting fire solutions for the M119 while using this script with ACE?

  14. Would be cool if you could attach 4 things on the RIS handguard like on a real weapon system. For example: m203 on the bottom, flashlight on the right, laser designator on top or whatever.
  15. I undestand, I'll be patient. But in the meantime, Manzilla, the problem seems to be with the M119 only. I can use all of the mortars, and the MLRS perfectly fine. When I try to use the artillery computer for the M119, I pick the location of the battery on the map (which is my position in this case), I pick locations on the map that are some distance away, and the coordinates and altitude all seem to go into the GUI just fine (with a few exceptions when I click the target coordinates just read 000 000). I multiselect the three M119 pieces that exist in the battery right next to me, and I pick under the M119 section all of the types of M119 HE rounds. I think off hand they're 4k, 6k, 9k, 12k or something I don't know. No matter where I place my target or which range of round I pick, I get an error saying no range tables exist for this type of ammunition, and no fire soultion could be found. These two errors will show up one after another in the chat console.
  16. Thank you for your quick reply. There is nothing before the arty init, so you I will just wait 1-2 minutes, that seems to be all it takes. I added the #include lines you posted and it didn't seem to help with the problem. I am using ACE on this map, which is something I didn't use on my last. Is there something I can do to make this script work with ACE?
  17. I know that this problem has been address multiple times, but I still cannot find a solution to it. I am a complete newbie when it comes to editing. I am using the 1.6 version of this script, norrin's revive script, the BTK cargo drop script, and the medevac module. I have made a mission with all these together once before and everything worked fine. I have made a second mission, this time on Takistan, using these scripts and modules and am encountering the following problems. 1. With the M119 I constantly get the error about the range tables for this type of ammunition and that there is no fire solution available no matter where I put my target, or which type of ammunition I use. Using the mortars and even the MLRS seems to work perfectly fine, just the M119 seems funky. 2. When my mission loads, the script doesn't appear to be active right away. I don't know if there's some sort of internal trigger (if there's even such a thing). Sometime has to pass before I get the option to lift things with the logistics mod, or check vehicles inventory, and even longer before I can access the artillery computer. It may be a coincidence, but getting into a vehicle and driving around a bit seems to make it work, unless of course it's just because of the time spent doing it that the script becomes activated. Anyone have any ideas? It's not an emergency, but I really would like to get this working, because as I saw in my last mission it is a beautiful script and would like to see it working to its potential.   19. Before I get to my point, I would like to state that I am aware of the EOD Dog script created by Rommel. Now, onto business... I would like to see a military working dog (depending on how ambitious of a modder we had, maybe different skins as I'll explain below) which would have a basic list of commands... such as stay, come, and at least a search feature. I think the search feature, if possible, rather than having to edit the script files, it would be nice if the dog would search out something by the name you assign it in the editor. For example, if the dog's search function made it search for something called dog_target, it would find a pipebomb (as in Rommel's script) named dog_target, or a dead body named dog_target. Once this object was located, the dog should go to it and sit and await its handlers next order. This would open up a few possibilities. For example, a dog could be used for search and rescue, or for EOD like in Rommel's script. Another dog could be used as an attack option could perhaps be used to attack any target it's commander gives it, like an AI squad member.   20. Hi everyone, I started up a dedicated server for my clan yesterday. Everyone was able to get in (as well as about 20 players who just stumbled across the server randomly and joined) without incident except for one player. I got a message on the console saying he had modified files @HiFi, which is some sound mod he uses. He got a message saying he was banned. We had a few problems with people getting kicked for addons, that I was able to solve by adding addons to the server.exe target via "Tophe's ArmA 2 Dedicated Server Tool." First, I tried adding the @HiFi crap to my directory, and adding it to the server mod list. That didn't work. Then I tried to have him remove all files from his ArmA 2 directory that weren't vanilla, and that didn't work. I had him reinstall ArmA 2, and that didn't work. So finally, I reinstalled ArmA 2, because I couldn't find anything in files saying he was banned whether by his name of his player ID or anything. I ran the server, and he got banned for having Community Base Addons installed, which is a mod I run on the server.. there is the exact console message I received: 19:23:36 SFC Snygg uses modified data file - CA;C:\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\AddOns\@CBA_A2 19:23:36 Player SFC Snygg connecting. 19:23:37 Mission co40 DomiA2! West Revive [2.11] read from bank. 19:23:38 Player SFC Snygg disconnected. Is there something that I'm not finding that has banned his player ID? I have read about things like ban.txt, but that file exists no where on my computer. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm really sorry if you covered this question before, there's just so many pages of this thread. I really enjoy playing domination on other servers, and just today I put up my clan's dedicated server and would like to run domination on it, but we don't use ACE or anything like that. Admittedly I didn't look too far, but which versions of DominationA2 can I run on a server which doesn't run any mods? Thank you in advance for your time and keep up the great work.
