thanks mrcash, completley forgot that the profiles are indexed in a different section and were not always deleted when you reinstalled. Fixed it by just wiping clean all my profiles in my documents, this allowed me to go in with the computers default profile and change it off needing CBA

couldnt get that program to work, would just flash up a dos screen quickly. I have since then reinstalled BOTH arma 2 AND operation arrowhead, deleted everything in the directeries....that has done absolutly nothing. is there seriously no other way to sort this out, i find it a bit stupid that you cant reset which mod strings the game treis to bring up on startup.

Im running combined operations, and i have established its not aything to do with ace, as through yoma addon sync i can turn the game on with the correct ace mods on and it runs fine. Its just the fact that initally i forgot to put @CBA in when selecting what expansions to use in game, and therfore combined operations keeps on trying to start up ACE without cba running, which results in the inability to start the game. When i edit command lines or start through yoma it effictivley bypasses the ingame launcher which means i cant sort it out through there :/

behind my target path? currently the only way i can get it to open via the shortcut is with this "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2OA.exe" -mod=@CBA however once i get into the game i cant edit anything in the expansions section, and restarting arrowhead with -mod=@CBA out of the line just gives me the same error, game wants to start with cba as default for some reason.

Earlier today i was testing out ace with arrowhead, whilst selecting which mod sets to be using i forgot to add in @cba, this meant when i selected enable and the game attempted to restart it couldnt because it needed to use CBA to load. I have tried running the program from the exe in my computer, shortcuts etc all came up with needing cba. So i tried running operation arrowhead through Yoma addon sync to see if i could get in and edit which mod sets i was using, but starting the game up with no mods/ace mods through it meant that i could not change anything in the expansions area as everything is locked. I then added @CBA onto the command line on my desktop shortcut, but same as above, locks out other expansions so you cant edit which is allowed in. After all this i reinstalled arrowhead, restarted PC, same thing occurs, requires CBA and no way to edit this. So could someone pleeeeeeease tell me how to reset this wtihout me having to mess around with addon sync or command lines every time i started the game like i did with regular arma 2. thanks

I think im actually agreeing with you here though. I find that there are only so many variants on the sniper rifles, wheras there are loads and loads of Assault rifles, sub machine gun, and fewer but still there CQB machine guns. And because there are more variants, people are more inclined to go, you know what, il try this assault rifle out quickly... and maybe they weill stick with it instead of going ZOMG I CAN HAS A BIG SNIPER RIFLE. (it sounds stupid, but i find a lot of guys who snipe on public get gun envy :P , not all though, some guys i know are brilliant snipers) Personally wish there was a way so you could limit it so only three guys could be snipers at a given moment, but thats just me. Because Xeno hasnt replied to this i assume he dosnt want the full ammo box in, so i will just have to wait till there are less updates on the maps so i can edit the version.

Xeno, first off thanks for the great missions you have put out, dunno where multilayer would be without you! The only thing i have wondered about since my clans server has been running the ace version of domi (BIS wounds), is there a reason why there isnt the full weapon list in ammo crate. If i recall correctly in arma 1 you had the all the weapons in there, every single variant of the weapons. It was one of the reasons i loved Ace, the choice i had to pick my weapon from an endless list to suit my every need. So this is me putting in a request for the full weapon box :) Oh and if this has already been asked for sorry, i checked back a few pages but couldnt find anything about it.

I just wanted to check that its not just me encountering this issue before opening up a support ticket. Me and some guys in my clan have found that sometimes, (and i state sometimes in that it occurs almost completely randomly, and doesn't appear to be able to easily reproduce) the laser designator from the AH1Z/1W flickers when turned on, meaning that the hellfires cant lock onto it and just fly straight, or land rapidly change between being locked on/going straight, so overshoot by around 100 metres. This is also apparent when using the designator to range the gun. I havnt yet encountered it in an Apache, only in various load out version of both AH1 variants. Ive swapped with friends so they gun and i fly, and they have had the same issue with the flickering designator. I have also then got in a different AH1Z, which was on the map at the same time as the other with the faulty designator, and its worked prefectly fine. Any idea as to whats causing this? and sorry if this has already been brought up, i looked in a few pages of these threads and checked changlogs but i couldnt find anything specific.
