    TvT Matches

  2. Hey Guys i have had my first RPT error report for a mission i have made and its got me stuck can anyone give me an idea what the hell this is about?   3. Hello guys, i am slowly learning how to make some decent missions but i am struggling to find any decent info on how to use an objects id in order to make an objective. I will try to illustrate this. I want OPFOR to destroy two bridges on the Proving Grounds map, (both of which are severely buggy by the way you cant drive over them!) after they have destroyed each one i want a message to pop up saying "bridge 14 destroyed" or something similar, that's not important! the bit that's got me is how to link a trigger to the object id, in this case 144 is one of the ids. I have tried to put a game logic in and placed that close to the bridge, with a trigger but i cant link it to anything and no matter what i try i cant get it to work! now this may be very very simple and i know it will require some sort of script in the condition field of either the game logic or the trigger but i cant find anything? Please help! Danny

  5. Hello Guys sorry in advance if this is in the wrong place! could admins move it if it is Thanks. I have used the trip flares ( M49A1) in a recent mission i made and when testing them they didn't seem to produce a great deal of smoke in fact the volume of smoke produced is very low, making them not very useful. Furthermore they are described as tripflares but produce no flare effect? Does this go as a bug? or is it an editing thing? i.e. can the volume of smoke be increased by scripting? and if so how does this work? Do i have to report it somewhere else as its an ACE feature?     the bridges cant be grouped to the trigger its the two road bridges in Proving Grounds and are both part of the map?

    Guys same as all the others i am running Windows XP SP3 with 2 gig ram, amd ii athalon x3 450 and a Power colour Radeon HD5450 card with 1 gig Kingston PC3 10600 ddr3. all on a asus MA488T-M mobo, nothing oc'd all as standard. Didn't have any issues till i upgraded pc today! now i can get about 30 sec's in game before crashing to desktop, I have tried with all settings high, very high, but hasn't made any difference i have updated all the drivers as well. Any ideas please?

    Cheers i have a list of issues so far with this! that being the least of my problems! lol but i hope that the 1.56 will cure the rest and why the hell didnt the dlc contain the patch? still will crack on cheers again

    hello so i just spent my hard earned cash on the dlc PMC from gamersgate, and for the second time i have and am having lots of trouble installing and playing, this time i have a variety of messages from: file copy error CRC does not match, game needs version 1.56 of application, and my favourite Rsc mission screen not found! so perhaps one of you wonderful chaps could tell me why the hell i cant get my game to work?
  15. Pathy if i knew how to i would snap your hand off! but i have no experience of that type of work and as i understand it the only person who can add roads is the map designer? i would love to have a go but im just a fire fighter with virtually no PC skills!
