Ye, few yers is not enough for bis to make any difference between hitting tank in front and side/back. Ace team made it with only scripts, without engine modification, what was almost impossible.
For BiS programmers, that can change engine code and make everything with it, it's just too hard. Yeah, beautiful clouds, fog and rain is more important.... What are you doing Bis programmers??
Maybe Bis don't have programers, so they don't know how to make changes other than graphics!??

It's funny that we talk about armor penetration, when in game it's still all about amount of hits and this f***** "health bar" that just players don't see. So please stop talking bullshit about RHA and other shit, when it has nothing to do with game, and you can still destroy tank with grenade launcher and other shit 30mm-like cannons..

H87 performance aka fatal1ty, and would like to overclock rams more than 1600mhz, because as we can see it help give nice fps boost.

What if my MB supports 1600mhz ram max, and I use faster? And if I buy 1600mhz rams, can I overclock it more than 1600mhz with this MB ?

I think the problem is not 360* vision, but how much time is needed for tank to see you. It should be longer,especially if you are at his rear.

This show how arma is very different from most other games, where ram frequency almost doesn't matter. Also would be nice to see differences with for example 9CL and 11CL rams.

I'm not nvidia fanboy, but anything from amd for Arma 3 is just stupid... just look at the benchmarks, and then at prices. 660Ti, 670, 680, 760, 770 and 780[gtx] are the best for choices for arma3.

I just don't get how this mod is so popular and liked, the quality of this mod is really disappointing for me, sorry. After testing single units in editor, I thought, that must be all about awesome missions or campaign, but there is not even single mission. Disappointed. It looks like OFP mod, sounds even worse.

In Polish regular army it's below 13:50 to get highest grade(5). It's really not so hard to get in this time if you train some.

In real army every fucking soldier must be able to run 3km in specific time and without any problem. Maybe sprinting is OK, but typical jog shouldn't tire so fast...

Posting anything about AI imho is pointless, devs don't care about them anyway. But they know it need much work, and still are working on it

My GTX 570 runs with almost the same frames as the new GTX 680 that I bought. Yes, ofcourse when playing in an editor without AIs there is a huge difference in frames but who cares how many frames I get in an empty editor.When the shit(AI) hits the fan you get the same FPS as my old GTX 570. Once again do not invest in expensive GPUs guys , buy CPU with good overclocking features. I actually regreted that I bought the GTX 680 .
Holy shit, too late for me, bought asus gtx680 already, but I think I won't regret it, you can always set graphic details higher etc... better to have reserve power in gpu. As for cpu it looks like there is no enough strong cpu for arma. From benchmarks you can see that the best for arma is haswell overclocked to the limit.

NOTthe 660 is enough, i have one and get 35-50 in MP (for the most part) most of the time my CPU will choke long before the GPU does.

Hello, building my rig of dream especially for arma 2/3 and need ya help ^^
Here is what I'm going to buy, and looking for smooth gameplay with med settings:
CPU: Intel i5 4670k OR AMD X8 FX-8350 , going to overclock CPU to the limits
GPU: Here im sure it will be GTX 760 with 2gb or 4gb (do you think it's worth to pay more for 2gb extra?)
RAM: 8GB goodram - suggest something better at same price ?
MOBO: No idea! Would like something cheap, but enough good to overclocking cpu at least to 4.5ghz
PSU: No idea! Same here, something chep would be nice, but idk....
HDD: SSD Samsung 840 120gb + 1TB standard hdd
I would like to save some money on MOBO and PSU, but you know, in common sense...

About hearing bolt carrier in akmhttp://ultimak.com/AKStockR&R/AKNomenclature.jpg - I shot with this weapon, and yes, you can hear bolt carrier impacting after shot, but it has very metalic sound, and it's hardly audible because of shot of course. And there is no realistic sound of this weapon(akm) in ANY game/sim(what you can hear on YT is bullshit, as many people said early).
What we can hear in JSRS I think is OK, but it should be about 50% quieter, and more metalic imo.
And of course congratulations on this awesome work, absolutely the best sound mod ;)
