Hello ! I plan to buy SSD HD this week and i want to know if it will really improve performance by a lot. And also, what way will give me better performance: 1. leave the system on the current HD and install arma on the SSD (only arma will be installed there) 2. install the system + arma on the SSD ? Thanks.

I did tried that too and it was the same. But, I will make sure again once I get back home from work. Before I left home today i made a fresh install on another partition and it actually helped bait, but not completely. But then I installed the beta patch again (last time it didn't help) and at the 5 min I had to test it everything worked fine. I will be able to test it more and update in about 5 hours. Thx for the help.

Hey guys ! I'm having a problem with the textures in game. It looks like they don't load or something. I tried to re-install the game and also play w\o any addons (i actually only use a sound mod ATM) Nothing helped. Does any one knows whats wrong? argg i hate going to the pc store lol went in for the hd 5770 and got out with the sappire hd 5850 vapor-x 2gb i also bought a full hd 32'' lcd tv to my room so cant wait to hook it up to the pc aswell and play arma on it at my gf home atm, will do that later i guess...

Hey! Me again :) Was wondering if i get the HD5850, will it be "too good" for my system? Don't want to buy a card that my system can't take advantage of it, because in that case i might as well get the HD5770 and have same performance?...

Thanks for the reply. Lets say im getting the 5770, on what res \ settings i will be able to run and play smooth ? atm i play on 1024x768 with normal settings (AA\AF and posteffect are off) and the game looks kinda crap comparing to what i see in youtube and screenshots

I'm getting this message when trying to install the patch: "ArmA2 is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupted" Arma 2 running just fine, so no idea whats the problem is... Any ideas?
