Daniel you answering with the same fact i was pointing at, the Holywood argument is valid! whether the term is correct or not i will not argue about that, pppft i don't care it is not of my consern! * My wish is keep the core game play active like we are used to in Bis series, the open world the tactical approuch just like ArmA2 is now but. * improvement on death annimations NO RAGDOLL but when you get shot i want to see the unit fal down like in real life if possible. (I don't want to see a unit blown away 5 6 meters after being shot by a 50 cal its not realistic but hollywood style DONT WANT) * improvement on pistol annimations, when you draw a pistol no soldier will hang his rifle on hes should he will or trow hes weapon away or the weapon will hang on the rifles cord in front or on hes back belt. * Apply visual side arms when the unit has a side arm holster add the pistol to the side arm holster the units look unfinished when this is not the case, although when the units loses hes side arm or trows hes side arm away the holstered weapon should not be there (this is just a visual aspect but it adds more then you think) * Scuba diving it seems they implement this already so im really eager to try that one out. * Sea battles not sure if we will have some but i will love to see a carrier and some battle ships allong with a sub with arms ( now im dreaming ) * Improved night vission the NVG, i have the feeling that when i looked in the past trough a real NVG this is not how it should be so i am really cerious if they would implement a better version or not. * Better bullet phisyx and balistics. * better annimations for cornering shooting from behind walls cars etc, this means that you can peek and shoot without exposing to much of your boddy so you force the AI to suround you even more to get to you :D they might pin you down that hard whoahaha ;) Now as long they keep the core game play they can implement any future in the game they like.

Believe me i'm old fashion also but a little new refreashing stuff can't hurt to my mind, it will open up a wider content and possibilities look at the scuba divers ( common i mean ) hell yeah we can finaly do a water aprouch with navy seals or speznas. Ok they will maybe not be vanilla game content, then they will need to make those in the community. what ever it gives us something to do ;-) now they open a lot of possibilities as long they don't go the extra mile too just run and gun content. If they ceep the core aspects of the game play then we will be fine, and don't forget we only saw a few screens it might be so like the guy's said just now that M4 AK's will be in the game and that the guns we saw is newly addition to what we where already used too. Some people like FN Herstal more then M4 Some like the FN 2000 above the scar some like the P90. I mean you will be able to choose i guess but thats only asumption because what do we actialy really know of the game? yeah right just the basics. kind regards

IT IS NOT SKY FY LIKE the fn2000 does exsist and the P90 too, also the tank does exsist, damn common get real, do you see drop ship djees do you see taisers? the setting might a little more to what we are not used to but damn don't call it sky fy, you know they are evolving to nano machines in real life? this means that they will have a computer in the future build in the helmet, its nothing that would not be sky fy it will exsist only not in active service immidiatly. That does not mean it is sky fy, really :rolleyes: but bis might implement that future in to ArmA3, oh noes tha game is trashed now pppffttt really its about the game play! And im sure they will keep the core alive ... to be honnest we are hanging way to long with the same equipment over and over its about time they implement more other guns and material in the game, all the other stuff we are used to will be added anyway by the community. Damn for bis it would only be a nother same content with the same stuff but a little more futers if they would do it the old way again. Give them some slack, common i mean how bored would they be if they do the same over and over, they are doing it for the last damn 10 years let them! they are entiteled to do so if you ask me ;)

Hell im going to buy it for sure, ok the thing is they packing out with a new look to it but what makes BIS simmulation realistic? the setting or the game play. Im with WOLLE on that part that i was not happy to see SCARS issued to the bras US ARMY because to the date it was not exactly like id had to be, but on the other hand thats not what the game made like it is now. The game is delivered with a game play future not seen to date in any other game with a great support for a modding community! thats the game i want to continiue to see. And to be direct on that fact as long the keep the core game play like it is with additional improvements and futures that will improve the game then they will win me twice the time then they already have me now. Hell scuba diving yihaa, finaly the navy seals will do what they are trained to do, we will only need a modder that will make such a unit if they are not in the game already! Physix nice as long the don't put in Ragdoll like in Holywood then i will be happy, hell im with walker on that part i just don't want to see somethign shot and blowing away 5 meters back but i think i'm not willing to participate to deeply in the conversation because of to many eagerly people wants to see holywood in ArmA3! anyway i for one surtainly don't want it because it does not add anything extra then only visual. On the ohter hand i love to see real life annimations when you get shot you will drop like in real life but im not sure if thats possible in a game. Lets see what we have gotten now at ArmA2 nothing was exact like it is in real life the settings where or out dated and everyone was complaining about it so the modders made content to over come that. Then again they brought us OA and the settings where like damn not realistical because of the scars and such. People where complaining about it but in the end modders pharsed it out with mods like ACE2 to be exact like it had to be. now they bring ArmA3 and everone is complaining about the fact it is to futuristic, and i have to be honnest i was scared to see drop ships and klingons but that was not the fact, so this is the least of my worries! The tanks does exsist The weapons do exsist The Shopper is in the making (i believe or hell let it even not be so who gives a damn?) and so on, already thought of it that they maybe will put in the next gen Abrams tank? hell that would be soooo sad im whyping already, NOT i mean wth are you complaing about anyway. They make a game they deliver if you don't like don't buy! plain and simple. what dragged me to this game is the realism GAME PLAY! and the abillety and support for modders and mission edditor not the content of the game it selves, its nice to have vanilla content and i like them to but i also like a lot of stuff made by the community. In the End it is the game play that does it for me! thats my 2 cent on it, I akted like a lot of others in the beginning that the first picture was on and a lot of you should feel silly the same way because hell we supported BIS all the way trough now! But now we would drop the support because the setting will not feels right? i think thats a bit to harsh ot my likings doh, i was not happy eather first but common now wake up! you all know that will not be true! If you go in without scuba gear you will be dying if you're out of air, it would not be realistic if you're not dying anyway. But then again it might be possible that you can not enter diving when you're not wherrying any scuba gear at this point we don't know nothing about the game mechanics regarding this future ...

as far as i can tell it is all real existing arms so nothing to futuristic, the only thing that will be most likely different is the clothes. And most likely different weapons, no m16a4's and m4's but more variated weapons i believe the posted a thread about it and so far is see only weapons that do exist. I think it will be more clear if we get more info as we go as for now we only have gotten the announcement and some picture, i think we will get more to see. I jumped to conclusions on the futuristic part and so far i was wrong, we might take this to hasty lets see what they will give for info..

Ok first i had something like, hmmm futuristic style no way but after that i saw a bunch of screen shots i have to say this is not that futuristic. Ok they putted Arms vehicles in the game that are not even released yet or what ever but at least they will somehow exist no? But if they keep in the line of Bis Armaverse hell did you saw the pics? what is not to like wait the helicopter? they look Coool nice details on the tank, man i showed even the picture of the that one soldier to a friend, i said to him this is the new armaverse game coming out in 2012 he said no way! that picture is real not in game don't shit me he said. This is a friend that i tried to get in to ArmA before but he was like verry stubborn and resistant to it, but i guess i pretty much convinced him today to buy the damn game just by showing the future plans of the Armverse engine. Did you saw that we will be able to swim under water? probably we will have also sea battles! NAh futuristic is more in the line like lazer beam bullets and space ships for me so this still sticks to realism, maybe with a little more future weapons and vehicles and improvised gear that does not exists but hell, if you think about it if they would keep it in the line off US vs russia or takistan people will complain that they will not be innovative now they are innovative and now poeple are complaining that they improvise. Now i call that a nutshell, i was more scared they would enter in COD modern warfare and more in a spacey Scy fy way but now i see all this, l im not scared anymore they bring this pretty well and if they keep it in the line of what we have now with improvements guys common which game providor is going to bring something like this? Tell me one developer! Non? oh well yeah BIS By the way i totally agree they opened up the way more for the modders to, you want more present units US ACU units or russian or even pakistani soldiers even lands from Arma2 and so on, you saw how those units look, imagine what the experienced modders can bring us HAH take that CM :p NAh after some thinking i have to say thank you bis kind regards

well i might be able to run it on my Phenom X4 so upgrading that is not really needed i hope, but my video card nvdea is definitly needed. And i need to buy win 7.

True i only hope im able to upgrade, but i'm not planning to upgrade my rig to soon. I think i better wait before the actual release date and upgrade like 1 and a have mont before. Otherwise my rig will already be out dated again when A3 comes out :D

yeah all nice pictures but i see one thing that was bugging me in ArmA series so far, Side arm holsters without Side arms in it :D I know it is nitpicking, but please put them in such nice units needs to be completed this time ;) kind regards because thats how people and costumors are, they devolop we buy and play it so we like to nitpick lol

Ok that sucks that means i need to buy win7 because vista is not comming on my pc and it does not come cheap here :butbut: pffft ok luckely i have some time to figure it all out to get it strait. hmmm mkay but i"m not the whelty you know, i mean it is a processor upgrade video card upgrade and a sytem upgrade i'm looking at 600 to 800 euro's here for the 3th time, its just i hope i am able to get it all so i can play it because i really don't want to miss out on ArmA3 kind regards

You are rediculous now, dude i know for sure a lot of community members need to upgrade hell i'm sure i need to upgrade to be able to play this game. I'm not sure how i gonna manage that but i will email my PC devoloper tonight with the question to max my pc out for this upcomming game! hell yeah if it looks like that and if we get all the stuff they did i will find a damn way to be able to play it. My pc needs to go in for repairs anyway because my dvd writer reader does not function well anymore so an upgrade can't hurt, ill even work over time for it, i will not pass out on this one :D kind regards
