I sent a review about arma2 to ebgames and it never got published, I didn't speak of other games or players or use any foul lang etc... and there are ZERO reviews about it anyway,,,, and now we can't even buy arma 2 OA through EB? So where in the world can we buy it? And what's the go with EBgames anyway? Do they have something against arma or aussie games in general? Seems pretty crap, really... :confused:

um-- there's one LAV to be utilised in this mission therefore saying 'I send my armoured units N and S' throws me a bit- as I haven't yet mastered the division of one vehicle using sharp scissors into two vehicles... :butbut:

the civvy heli that comes to pick you up lands a few hundred metres downhill,,, worked for me each time but you probably don't want to hear that--- um only thing I can say is how it went for me- I tapped Lopotev in leg and then had him healed, and very quickly after, the heli has landed downhill and to the,,, sth? sth-sth-east? app. 400 metres away.

steam seems to cause a lot of problems with hacks etc and so could be hurting you guys' game... if playing single player then disconnect from net, physically, do not install steam and unfortunately,,, perhaps reinstall. I did not install via steam or with steam and I have had zero problems with this game so far.... online and singleplayer. I've only got 2gb ram, a 9800gt vid card and 3.2ghz cpu. also ctrl alt del and see what processes are running, press user name and try to cut as many of those out as possible- for example java (jusched), and other things, some may be associated with vid card.

mate don't worry your english seems quite good- but pls find the correct name of the mission and which version of ARMA you are playing, for example are you playing the 1.05 version from the recent 1.05 patch? each mission should have a name so as I say- pls find that and then repost your question here- there are many helpful people playing this awesome game! anyway I'll check here again and try to help mr.falschirmjaeger lol (don worry about my german-it's almost zero)

conduct a sweep of the village-- I should've been listening to the briefing a lot better eh? seems that it's all about clearing heavy opp. from afar by directing vehicles--- then moving squads through. I've always just headed in myself and blatted all the baddies- lasered the bmp for 500lb's to tap and then continued slogging around on foot... hope it completes this time--- anyone else who has finished it still feel free to comment here pls-

mate I can tell you now that having ur net connection on while playing any single player game is a recipe for disaster- apps running in the background- anti virus or java etc etc even windows updating,,, it's just a real bad scenario- I myself checked the net a couple days ago and thought yeah why not have a quick bash on arma--- bam! the game was all jumpy, freezing every 30seconds or so while something was obviously chewing up resources in the background.. also a friend was telling me that steam is a pain as compared to punkbuster, it's highly crackable/hackable? but anyway it's just full of bad things and don't forget that going steam- you're basically saying yeah do what you want to/with my system whenever you want, as opposed to choosing when to dl things... I had a steam install of Total War last year- man what a waste of system resources that turned out to be. last word- ditch anything that becomes an open sender controlled port on your machine- coughsteam!cough!- and go basic mate- control ur pc as much as you can yourself.

I haven't needed reinforcing, playing on the veteran difficulty.... this is getting pretty old, pretty quick lol. ah well if somone has finished this stage- pls tell me- did you kill all the enemy and rv or hold that seize and hold point? I've slotted all opp.force guys, had zero casualties, placed squads and vehicles all round the town, and even had my own squad sitting at the seize and hold point... of course, all before 0830hrs... dagnabbit is all I can say. anyone else have this problem and THEN finish it somehow? and anyone who finished it anyhow- pls tell me how your game played out. appreciate all replies- happy hunting all :D:yay:

alt space command swap helped me whip the opposition,,, and yet I am still unable to have this mission finish... thanks for replies to earlier post but this time- pls only people who have finished it and had it show up as completed on thier mission list reply to this. again- banana man is just here cos,,,, well cos,,,, he's awesome! lol- all he needs is a rifle. this is the last time I'll ask about this so as not to get kicked off for repeating same post.

didn't bother finding her as I figured women don know nuthin! lol just jokin as I get mail bombed by female hackers >< DOH! I never found her but it didn't seem to affect the mission,, for me, anyway. saw bomber blow himself up or get blown up- lol'd for a min and then wasted his attacker.

Thanks all for replies- I guessed as much re: doesn't kinda finish for everyone else too lol- and in particular cheers to Alex72- I never tried command mode lol- bit of an assault pioneer here so I just headed on in on foot, halted my guys at edge of town and then went in alone lol- lasered the APC, shot the recoiless operator and driver in car, jumped in and threw some of those shells around the town, ran around and tapped everyone up at farm stable and the snipers in the nth? wood, called my guys back in and sat down for a brew lol :D ctrl + space- playing on 3rd difficulty and still have never used that yet lol. I have killed all the enemy, including the APC and the car with the recoilless rifle- and of course including the enemy up in and around the farm stables, the crewmen hiding near it and then rv'd at the selected 'seize and defend? hold?' point prior to 0830, and yet I still do not complete the mission. I have topped all enemy and held seize point by 0830 a number of times now,,, and still have not completed the mission- most frustrating. has anyone else had this problem or can advise me on how to complete said mission? any help is appreciated, thanks. < banana dude has nothing to do with anything- I just like him lol.
