I hope we will be able to buy a steam key through Sprocket. I'd rather give my euro's to Sprocket than steam :) Beside that, this sounds really good.

Like Tonci said, the problem might come from your CPU... I had a xeon x3350 before and I was not able to run Arma + ACE on high settings. I recently change my mobo, cpu and ram and now it's fine.

So you will be able to fight on the western front, it looks really good :)
