  1. What I really mean is how to let A.I. provide the mortar fire automatically. You know, Mortor is very important to support infantry during the fights just like in WW2 era. In my game, those poor british paras desperately need Mortar to support their fights before the major Yankee troops arrive..., and usually, I would be a player on side of german.


  2. Just would like to give some personal idea & comments. For reference only...

    * Jungle & Grass area seems a bit dense and not suitable for single mission players. Of course, it's very close to the reality. But regretuflly, AI and players couldn't do exactly as real men in a game. So it almost never could see enemy and fight in such jungles. Suggest to make some plants lower or lessen the density of Jungle. And add more villages in future release.

    * Do appreciate and like the variety of soldiers, really lots of options now. To add more, suggest to make NCOs by putting rank arm patches and identify officers by putting some rank marks on uniform as well.

    Pfff...it's up to the addon makers to choose how and when they want to release something. Not happy ? Do it yourself !

    Quite right, yes, I've already tried to do something as some others!

    And also no one is trying to force a Mod maker to release anything at any time of course. Without question, the Mod Makers have rights to choose their own working and releasing way. And it wont say others don't have rights to express their personal view for reference. Nobody said that would be just the guide of action the Mod teams should follow.

    No one could blame for my admiring of Liberations' work even if they would never release or failed on this Mod work. I also expect anything they are making.


  4. If the mod would be released tomorrow, and wouldnt work due some bugs, that couldnt be eliminated, coz guys like you rush an early release, you would be for sure the first complaining about a not working mod...

    I dont think any Mod team would release something couldn't work at all. As for bugs, it's a normal thing overally and even for BIS, they just improve it one by one in a way of patch releasing and never delayed their publication of OFP, AMRA, ARMA2 & OA till all are ready without bugs found. In other words, lots of bugs could only be found and rectified by wide extensive testing and playing by gamers after its releasing. Shortly, we have enough patience for bug fixing but no for long years waiting for a basic release.


  5. Shinra123, not sure how you put and run the Mod in ARMA? If you just wanna play the Mod itself, you could create a ARMA shotcut to link to this Mod. Of course, in such way, the units and stuff from other independent Mods couldn't be played. If you want to play the units of this Mod with another Mod, such as Inv44,etc., actually, you could copy all files from the addon of this Mod and put them in the addon of ARMA. They won't overwrite anything I think. I just play in this way.


  6. It seems T-34 still not improved in firing to targets. But other tanks, such as german IV, II, etc work very well. Really strange why T-34 got such issue. Not sure if others also get such a problem.

    Overally, the beta addons are very nice in audio effects, realistic combat atomosphere, such as nice explosion and light weapon shooting animations,etc, just like in a real fight during WW2. Although now it's AMRA2 era, still spent much time playing it.
