Guys...i need some input. I wanna buy a new graficcard. My GTX285 is very noisy and i may get rid of my ctd-only-nighttime-ingame-issue. :rolleyes: Whatsoever.I have a Palit GTX285 with 2GB DDR3 RAM which uses 185 Watt.And iam undetermined between two models. 1. PALIT GeForce GTS 450 Sonic Platinum 1GB DDR5 RAM (106 Watt,very,very quiet) 2. PALIT GeForce GTX 460 Sonic Platinum 1GB DDR5 RAM (160 Watt,more power than the 450) I would like to know,is the 450 a big step forward compare to the gtx285 ? A quiet card would be a nice thing also the low wattage. But iam unsure.Maybe my old card has more power than a 450 ingame.

Are you using "no-cd cracks"? This could be the reason why FADE are get activated too.

This pretty much sounds like the FADE copyprotection gets activated.Are you sure you bought the game and you dont use a pirated version ? :j:

Press left SHIFT + Numpad MINUS and type FLUSH . This should you at least jump back to the screen. But there is no real fix atm for that issue. I hope the day will come when a new beta is out and the log says : *FIXED No more Taskmanager freezes and CTD hangups :rolleyes:

never ever got this issue before.but you could try a different download location from patch 1.07 and dl/try it again. and maybe installing the patch with admin rights will do it.

1. try latest beta for that tank issue. you may have luck. 2. try mando missle addon. its more realistic and an awesome addon.

The only solution to bypass this issue is to use the "flush" command. Next time you get this annoying situation just type : left SHIFT+Numpad MINUS and FLUSH This may kick you back to the game. I experience this mostly in the nighttime ingame,and specially on landing strips,in the near of broken vehicles and often near big citys.But only when its at night ingame like i said before.

your soundcard from the laptop may not be able to play it. had an issue ages ago with a different game,and it always crashed when a specially soundfile should start to play ingame. the fix was ,i bought a new soundcard,and everything went fine.

...c'mon. you guys already know it that there is no .bidmp,.mdmp nor .rpt report,when its CTD/switchingTD while still running in the taskmanager. :j:

right. just take the engineer,move close to the mine and use the mousewheel.you will see "disable mine". Once you disabled them you are able to take them with you. its going the same way. (i took all in the jeps.)

make it like scruffy said. go in position,tell them to hold fire,and give them all a target via command.call your bakup assault (airstrike,helo,and mechanised infantry),and when the first rounds hit the ground..... open fire.
