Has it been done? Who is interested? Goal: To determine who are the best COOP Squads. Probably looking at 4 up to about 12 man coop. Post thoughts here and I am following up other stuff in other threads. Thanks Lighty.

Well the scores are earned by the team for completing objectives - they will have limited number of revives available to them and if their Medic goes down they have no revive ability. So you don't get points for reviving but if you use your revives up and lose men then it limits your ability to complete objectives and earn points.

just to be clear - ACE2 wounding system is still a Revive imho - it's still the ability to bring someone back who would otherwise be dead. Just more complex, fancy and time consuming.

i will work out some sort of Revive option so that Medic has a defined role but it will not be a walk in the park. I will see (I think it is) if it's possible to set a revived players health at less than full health so they can still continue mission but have a sketchy reticule for example. what i have done is set Mission Completion into a Radio Trigger the idea being that when the team has completed all (or as many objectives) as they think they can complete they will hit the Radio button to end mission and calculate score. The team must then take a screenshot of the score and also looking at a recording replays option to prove how they performed during the mission. ---------- Post added at 08:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:54 AM ---------- there will be a maximum of 8 players allowed to insert into a mission (minimum 6 to have any chance of success) but your team could comprise of up to 15 players (which allows for the fact that it's not always easy to get 8 ppl online to play a mission at the same time).

will throw this question out again - With reinforcement the patrol walks off to reinforce, however, would like them to switch from a normal patrol to a running/combat mode. Has anyone figured out how to do this? -

nice map mate - i felt the same about the generic looking trees all over the map. the other suggestion/question is the houses in the latest images are beige/tan in colour while the rocks they sit on are blue/grey. I would imagine in that sort of enviroment that the houses would have been built out of the rocks that surrounded them so is it possible to retexture the rocks to fit the colour of the houses? -

Back in the day when I was creating missions for Ghost Recon I produced and ran 3 tournaments aimed at testing the skills of the coop players. Each tournament would contain between 5 and about 10 missions. All missions would contain multiple objectives with points attached to each objective. The missions would have no respawns - you die and your toast. You couldn't even spectate so you could not assist the remaining players with what was going on in the mission. You could only keep your points if you successfully extracted - so in effect you had a serious risk versus reward situation. Do you go for the extra points but risk dying and failing to secure any points? Or do you take the points you have and extract hoping that it would be enough to be the best Ghost Team on the block? Now I don't know if this has been done before in Arma2 or earlier versions of this glorious game but you'd better prepare yourselves for some seriously intense and enjoyable coop. Welcome to my world! ;) -

Just one question on reinforcements - I have a patrol set to reinforce walking calmly through their patrol zone. Then they are called to reinforce! What I want them to do is haul a$$ to the reinforce zone ready for combat. But they don't they casually walk over like they're still in the casual patrol mode and it's just not the reaction I need. How to resolve this one please. thanx Lighty. -

Really like what you're doing here mate - your attention to detail is very inspiring (I tend to jump straight into the action a la my GR missions :)). I will take a good look at the missions you have already released. And who knows, maybe in the future we will collaborate if that suits. Lighty.
