3 missions done and dusted so far and feels just like Island Thunder!! I am using garrison script around buildings and for most patrols and they are a lot more unpredictable and realistic in movement imho. -

I always wondered whether it was possible for Devs to code furniture to randomly fill houses similar to modules which create civilians around towns and enterable buildings. If the Devs know where the house positions which AI need to walk to and from, then you tell the code not to place there (too difficult I guess) But what if the Devs could code furniture only positions and then randomly populate these. Again, probably way too much work.

Mission one tested on CIA server tonite (thanx guys) and besides a minor hitch with getting AI to follow it all went really well. -

New coop campaign is well under way, with some brilliant missions. Using some of the familiar Island Thunder locations but with a brand new storyline and new enemy. -

Mission Music - Copyright infrigement?

you will never have any issues with putting music in your missions assuming you aren't trying to make a small fortune from the mission (which Im certain you wouldn't be). there is nothing wrong with it, and no one is ever going to sue you for doing it....it costs money to sue and what would be gained? please remove song from your mission at worst? not worth the effort for anyone. scaremongers might tell you that its copyright infringement but infringement would NEVER be applied in this case. enjoy your editing :) -

What is the fog like in Arma3 compared to 2 (poppins and so on)?

I'm thinking of arma2 editor, re/ sandbags. But if they aren't in Alpha yet they will be brought across at full release so no point making objects that will b ported IMHO.

I want to bring this thread back up because I was thinkin about the Picture in Picture (PIP) view in Arma3. Would it be possible to create such a view inside the scope when zoomed which would effectively take a picture of the view ahead approximate zoomed distance closer which would me grass and clutter would still be visible in scope. So you get the zoom and you also get the grass! I noticed the addon the other day which enabled you to see the view that your fellow players were seeing through their eyes - so things are possible just well beyond my abilities. ---------- Post added at 11:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:04 PM ---------- would PIP view allow us to create the picture above?

Icebreakr, I know how you feel about island mod tools but you can't not move Lingor to Arma3 when the full release is out. It is part of the series now forever. And I'm doing a new campaign for it which I want to see in Arma 3 :)
