    Tutorial misson

    Arma Tactis only runs on Tablets and Smartphone with a Nvidia Tegra 3 or 4. Your Tablet is not supported. It's written in the App-description in the Google Appstore.

  3. Im in Israel every year for a couple of month. I try to collect some good scenery pictures I have on my hard drive, but I usually stay in the center around Tel Aviv or in the north. Israel has a really divers countryside. But if you just want it to look more "levantinish" I think you can also take pics from the north. Just add fewer trees.
  4. Good to see that someone finally makes a Israel / Levant map. Im waiting for this for a long time now. Especially for such a big one. One note about your Pics: Dont go grazy with palm trees. You dont see a lot of these in the wild countryside. Its mostly along boulevards in Towns and city as decoration. Beside Datepalm plantages there definitly no "palm-forests". And the palm you see in that area are Date-Palms. The ones on you pic look more of palms on tropical islands.

    Celle 2

    As anyone thought about the fact that German Autobahns don't have these barriers over their full course? Especially in more rural areas (i.e. area around Celle) one can usually only find these Barriers close to exits / access roads from and to the autobahn, at curves or bridges. Especially these long straight sections usually don't have these barriers to the outside. I'd rather like to see the barriers again, that seperate the lanes. These give you the real "autobahn feeling". I never experienced any AI problems with these barriers. One could think about replaceing them with bushes. In many areas these middle barriers are completey overgrown. But as the others said, its up to Mondkalb to make his awesome map even more... awesome.
  6. Thanks for the info. I just found some informations about this in Mr-Murrays editing guide. Maybe Ill find some time tomorrow to put together a Coop-Version and try to make the night missions a little bit brighter.
  7. Thanks for the compliments guys. @Jedra: That is strange. I tested the missions this morning but this messages never appeared. I don't even now what this error means. Do you have any other addons running besides the ones required for the campaign? Does this message appears in every mission? @domukun + guttersnipe: It's a SP campaign. I have no experience with MP missions. But setting the commandos to "playable" in the editor should do it, right? Don't know if this might cause a conflict with the heal script. Ill check this out.
  8. Seems, that someone already did this ;) Mission length: As I wrote in the beginning this is a recreation of the first campaign of H&D1. I remember the original mission to be not very long either. I incorporated every task of the original missions. When I compiled these missions for the release I already had the Idea of making a "remake", like adding new objectives, or even new missions which were not included in the H&D. But I have to leave this for someone else, since I have absolutly no time right now for such a project. @Jedra: Like in the original campaign Missions 1 and 3 are night mission while 2 and 4 are daytime missions. I played around a lot to find the perfect date and time in the editor to make the nights as bright as possible. Its works out for me my gammasettings are set to 1.2 and contrast to 0.8.

Operation Iron Swarm A Tribute to Hidden and Dangerous for Arma2: CO 1.60 Hey Guys, since Invasion1944 2.5 was released I played around in the editor and created some H&D-Commando-Style missions for myself, everything very incomplete. When 2.61 was released I decided to finally finish these missions and thought, why not release them? Maybe people like it. These are the first missions I release since OFP so don't be to harsh with your critic ;) Hope you like it. This four-mission mini-campaign is a recreation of the first campaign of Hidden and Dangerous. So your goal is to free a captured allied bomber crew. You lead a four-man commando unit behind enemy lines with the assistance of local partisans. The features: - All four missions of the original H&D italy campaign, but imported into the Arma2 enviroment. This means wider AO, tougher fights... better graphics (of course) ;) - Music form the original soundtrack. - A little intro. - custom loading screens. - celerys heal script to compensate the lack of an AI healing script within I44. - free weapon selection during the briefings. - teamswitch. - your team consists of some characters from H&D. Issues: - couldn't test the missions alot but they are rather simple so hopefully there a really no major issues. - some anachronisms like wrecked UAZs, or post-war locomotives. There are unfortunatly no bigger maps, which a really suitable for WW2 campaigns, but Podagorsk is still fitting I think. I tried to remove all "modern" stuff from the map with the editor but some have no IDs. - some logical erros in the story, but these are imported from the original game. So these are all Illusion Softwares faults.     As I wrote. Just a remark. Its your campaign and the MARSOC guys are not prevening me from playing it ;) Regarding your question: I really like the BIS Force Recon Guys. I know theyre wearing woodland camo, but I saw pictures of Marines in Liberia (I think it was liberia) wearing Woodland camo. But I think Force Recon are not tasked with search and rescue missions. I would guess so, since their name is Force Reconnaisance There are nice MARSOC Units from Binkowski: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10153 Or the TF86 SEALs: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10001 I dont know if its a problem, that these are not on OA standard.
  12. Mabye It helps, when I descripe what I did exactly: 1. I put this in the Init of the my Unit: this addEventHandler ["Fired",{if ((_this select 4 == "F_40mm_Red")) then {attackGo=true;}}]; (Obvisouly I changed F_40mm_Red to the ammo classname of the flare I needed) Note: This should be the first entry in the init-line of an unit. I realised that it doesn't work if some other commands like addweapon or so stands first. 2. I created an AI-Group. I set up a couple of Waypoints for this group. In the condition-field of the first waypoint I entered "attackGo" (without the ""). So the Group will move up to the first Waypoint and will wait there unitl attackGo is "true".
