  1. ACM would be sorta weird on this map. Its an African map.

I know It would be an atmosphere killer if I saw some Russian civs wandering around in a shanty town.:p

Unless some awesome person could retexture the civilians to be African American and give them different outfits. Then the ACM module would be acceptable. :D

  2. I would love see(hear) the the sounds of the M4, M16, M249 and maybe other weapons(haven't testet yet) being more loud and sharp.

At one point i was under heavy fire from like 300m distance and when i returned fire i could not hear my own gun sounds because of the supersonic cracks from the enemy fire. So in my opinion the supersonic cracks seems a bit too high, not much but a little and the gun sounds seems way too low and flat.

Gun sounds on distance sounds AWESOME

All in all i love this mod, keep up the brilliant work ;)

    I agree with everything.

M16 and M4 seem a bit muffled. I love the M249 sound though.

If you added a little more power to the M16 and M4 that'd be totally awesome.

And I did notice the bullet cracks are a bit loud and repetitive.

  3. Okay so I tested it with just ACE2 and CSM2. And it works. So now the problem seems to lie inside my addons folder(@All). Arg..I'll do some other tests and screw around with a few things to see if I can get this working.

Okay I got it working. Turns out there were a few SOW mod files left in my addons folder from when I used to use it. I wonder if I ever even got to use the ACE2 sound mod to its fullest.

Oh well it works now. :yay:

  4. I've really been looking forward to the release of this mod and I just saw the DL link so I downloaded it, and I tried testing it in game multiple times and I just cannot get it to work properly. I've tested almost all the weapons and the only one changed is the M16. All other guns are the same. Im using ACE2, I thought it was supposed to be compatible. But it works if I run ArmA II on a different shortcut without anything but CSM2 running. Even if I load the game with my addons folder(@All) the sound mod doesnt work besides the M16. So im thinking its more than just ACE2 conflicting. Ahhh. So many problems.

Can you please help me out?

This is what my shortcut target line looks like -"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 33900 -nosplash -mod=@ACE;@ACEX;@CBA;@ACEX_PLA;@ACEX_SM;@CSM2;@CAA1;@OAC_core;@WarFXParticles;@JTD;@All;@BWMod;@TRSM_Tracked_Vehicles
