    cant change difficult on showcase

    i have same problem ... and i try to fix that since 3 days ... I cant change my difficult from regular to anything else... i want to play on veteran and disable the crossair .. I change the difficult in the game options, in the main menu ... press ok and nothing will be saved. A3 is started as Admin i have tryed to make another profil any ideas ?!

  5. i tested it out ... but ... i cant see any AI pulling someone out of the danger zone in a fire fight ?! also non of the frendly ai medics try to heal me. nice with thing with the bleed out timer if you a wounded ... maybe you should add some disarm feature to the enemy wounded soldiers... elswhere i dont want to heal them :)
  6. Thanks , works great ! one thing ... my units spotted the morta every time after the splash.... in a radius of 2.5 k .... even with no line of sight .... can i stop that ?

    look for AAS missions from Arma 2 .. maybe they a also in arma 3 aviable ... thats what you want :)
  8. try to search for some tutorials from arma2 most of them also work with arma 3 Alpha ... most of the scripting commands a the same ... there a many tutorials out there ... :) Maybe you should start with that pdf Book ... its for free .. and all basic's a explained http://hx3.de/editing-scripting-167/arma-2-editing-guide-17865/

Create a triger (F3) with following settings: Activation: Bluefore Once Present Select your wanted size of the trigger (maybe sound will only played in the middel of the triger , if is it to big) Now press on effects in the trigger Window .. and select under the trigger category the Alarm sound. Thats all.. Run with a bluefore unit in that area and the alarm will fired... You can also modify this trigger to anloy fired when "bluefore" spoetted by Opfor ... or add an delay .. or whatever you want ;)

  11. ok i figuered it out .... this AddMagazine "chemlight_blue"; works fine ! 1.: Create a Soldier 2.: Put this line in the Initialisation this AddMagazine "chemlight_blue"; If you dont have any Chemlights in your Inventory , look at your backpack or vest ...   12. You have to add it to player again after death .. new Spawend Player has to sync again with the modul i think
  13. i will figuere it out later today ..... i have to go to the damn work now ;-/ i dont know .. but maybe you have to add it to the Vest of the soldier ?! its just a idead :) Try this Give your soldier a name .. something like unit1 then add this to the init line of your unit. unit1 addItem "chemlight_blue"; if it not work , maybe someone else have an idead ... or you have to wait until i am back from work today ;)

  15. in A2 , you can add Weapons with this addWeapon "WeaponClassName"; Magazine this addMagazine "MagazineClassName"; and Items: this addItem "ItemClassName"; dont know wicht category the chemlights in Arma3 will belong too , but i think it's Item class. Chemlight Class Name: Chemlight_blue Chemlight Class Name: Chemlight_green Chemlight Class Name: Chemlight_red Chemlight Class Name: Chemlight_yellow Try one of the Code Snippets frome above and put it in the Initialisation line of your player unit. I dont test it , but it should work.   16. thes two pics a from a Editor mission , on Lowlands Island..... i use Fraps (Full Version) to take Screenshots in Arma .... You can disable the HUD completle in Options .... and when you look around by pressing the ALT key , you dont see your weapon Aim Point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I Have still the Problem with Serverkeys for Unsung Mod .... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  17. To select your soldiers without looking at them press the F1 - F10 Key. By bigger group size you can switch between 2 - 10 and 11 - xx by pressing F11 + F12 To heal other team members you need a medic , or a Medic HMMWV or Medic Tent , you can order you men to heal at Car or MASH by selecting the soldier and then press 6 - ?! and than select heal by XXX the actions at "6" a only for one team member , no multi select support. The guy at the Pic is not me , its one of my soldiers :)

Nice Pic , Think you have to learn how to deal with the Commando Keys from Arma :) for me these a the important keybindings 3 - 5 (Engange at will) 3 - 2 (Hold Fire) 7 - 2 (Danger) 7 - 3 (Alert) 1 - 1 (return to formation) 1 - 6 (Stopp / Hold) .... here a two pictures of my last Lowland Patrol

I posted this in the armanam Forums too, maybe someone here can help me out ?! i realy want to run Unsung mod on our Clan Server, but have several problems with the Keys. i have tried diferent downloads of keys but nothing helps. I have also tried the Six Updater verison but this one seems not up to date. i also installed the 2.1 patch.   23. Create a trigger ... and then press "effects" ther you can select the "arma" music. if you wanna have "real" music ... :) you have to convert your Music into *.ogg fiels.

  25. Unsung mod is still a great experience.... i missed MP Servers like Mr Pedersen too , but my real home is the Mission Editor. Worked out some cool stuff with the script version of DAC in combination with AI FIRST AID SUPPORT.
