Great mission, enjoyed it on Arma2...better on here. Any chance of getting revive added? I've tried using Norrins on top but the scripting in here is way beyond me. Any ideas? Cheers -
OA Missions using multiple ACMs

Hi, I'll start by saying I'm patently not a coder, so some of this escapes me...I've made a few simple maps using Kronzkys random patrol script but I've started looking at the ACM stuff. I've created my units, in three groups and added 3 ACMs (enemy, civilians and civ vehicles) and synched to the leader of each group. Ideally I'd like all three to one group so it is tidier and nicer to play but from what I can make out that's limited as far I can make out. I've added this to my init for the combat piece, do I need the same for the other two? It seems to work locally, I get vehicles and civilians, but I think it's more luck than judgement. Basically I want to synch 3 ACM's to one bluefor patrol group then tweak the settings to generate only enemy presence of varying degrees. Am I doing it wrong the above way? Hi guys, I've searched but obviously getting something basic wrong here. Whenever I build out my missions, no matter what class I pick I seem to have limited weapon slots, essentially you can't carry a gun and a SMAW for example. Any ideas? Apologies for stupidity of this one as I know the answer is going to be easy :o Cheers

Hi, I've scouted around and whilst I can see the way (I think) to do it on a local single player I can't figure it out on a MP server. We run a dedicated server and I'd like to be able to enable respawn on a couple of maps, is it possible on the user made ones such as Black Cow etc? TIA EDIT, ignore me, figured it, really sorry for being dumb here! Feel free to delete this.

wow, that was quick :) We are trying to grow it in the community so keeping it vanilla is good, although if we get the numbers we want, ACE may become an option. With the respawn/revive, the design of Hijack is both, so you can respawn (and set up a mobile base) and revive. Frankly as we're all learning it, we aren't great at 'not dying'. We're getting there, but we also don't want to scare off the new guys!

Hi, I'm a member of a community that has just taken up Arma2 (don't worry, I'm not pimping us). We're trying to find some fairly vanilla missions that let us play with between 6-10 players and allow respawns. The ones that have fit so far are Silent Wind and Hijack as they allow the respawns and don't have 'too' far to go when you do. I guess we're looking for something more like Morning Star 1 and 2 but with a bit smaller scale. We're working our way through a few and we'll start trying to make our own, but to get us going in what looks like it will be an excellent game for our style of community we could really do with some help getting the ball rolling!
