Can anyone spare a little time to help, as before my friend has having the usual problem of having Ace installed (computers hate him). This time every time he joins a server he gets missing files and then is booted. He's updated his updater to the latest version, hes deleted all the contents of the @ace folders and re downloaded it all, it even shows green for his current version. At first he was having trouble getting his updater to download at all because it couldn't see his steam install path after he reinstall on a new hard drive, but after running the yoma? (alt updater program) he doesn't get that message anymore and it downloads, but he still has this missing files... Some of the missing files error he says are like ": acex_c_veh_mah6", ": acex_men_usarmy". He deleted the contents of the acex and re downloaded the data but no dice. Would really like to play this mod with him again, can anyone help?

Argggg, going nuts. Dunno how this has just randomly stopped working, updating the installer to 0.6.7 didn't fix it for him, he keep's getting this when running the program. Cleaned out folders and reinstalled, I'm at a loss. He was able to run the program fine, this has started only recently. (NoMethodError in MainController#index) EDIT: He's opened a ticket albeit in the wrong section (bugs) http://dev-heaven.net/issues/9020 , told him to put it in support so he did too http://dev-heaven.net/issues/9021 . He's not great at computer as you can guess :P

Sorry for bumping, anyone?, got us both stumped on it.

Posting for a friend, he's getting this error message when trying to update, he's never had a problem before until recently. I've told him to uninstall the six updater and delete the folder in Appdata and any left over files from installation and install the new one and run it again. He's get the same error. It's the very same error this poster has/had (http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1561697&postcount=3221), but didn't see a reply if he fixed or not. Help would be very much appreciated :cool:

Fixed it, it was indeed missing the default Addon directory, on reflection I must of deleted it when un-installing a sound mod. Reinstalled the full game and now it works fine, thanks.

The updater put in * @ACE * @ACEX * @ACEX_PLA * @ACEX_SM * @CBA All of them folders are in the arma 2 directory, I'm at a loss on how to fix it. EDIT: Tried deleting the @cba and re downloaded it but same error message comes up.

Urhhhh, Help! :( Ran the updater to the letter and everything seemed to download fine, no errors or anything, however when loading the game it gives me this message: Addon 'Extended_EventHandlers' requires addon 'CAData I hit OK and the game loads but it has missing textures and the screen is messed as if something didn't load. I then tried running the game through the updater but the same thing happens. Someone asked about this earlier in the post but didn't get a reply, any help is appreciated.
