Yeah, thats true, Noone is going to buy a "engine limitation" excuse. They either don't give an excuse or they just use the above one. Yeah, But to be honest, We've got to give the dev team a thumbs up for actually admitting all those things. Instead of just telling us all that BS we heard at E3 2008.

Well, I give ALL games and companies the chance to make themselves up. Heck, Im even waiting to see how Black Ops will turn out. (now I can see they've taken a turn and are listening to community more) Im just gonna sit here, wait, and see. Just rememeber, that doesn't mean im bashing them, it doesn't mean im 100% gonna buy, heck, it just means im neutral and just, waiting.

Whilst, I understand it wont be another CwC, it may still turn out to be a good game. Thats the point im getting at here, it might end up being a decent game at the end of it.

FPDR I never said that. I was saying that CM DO let their dev-team do what they like, and DO give them freedom, they're not always "under the suits". They're free to use the community and add things in that they please... mostly. So, with that in mind, im going to give the RR dev team a chance.

After seeing how much work CM devs (can) put into a game (i.e. their F1 games), and with the fact the devs are actually posting on the forums now (not like before) and with Helios saying we're gonna get alot more info (once it hits Alpha stage) Im going to wait for gameplay (which will come after the pre-rendered videos) Still, It might actually end up being a good game.

You lot know that RR is still only Pre-Alpha stage, alot can happen. At least wait for some gameplay to bash/judge.

To be honest, if you scrape the OFP name off of Red River, it would be a decent game, it may not be a OFP, like DR, but it will still be a decent tactical shooter.

I doubt caves would work very well. It would be cool, but not really practical.

ooh the CM one came with an infraction. Templar just laughs at me over XFire, what more to expect.
