um yeah i haven't got past the first mission in ST:6/4 yet lol
-
As many have probably mentioned before, these campaigns should have been released with the game or something. Still trying to get the rucksacks to work in-country tho. I remember not being able to ruck gear during the briefing, but I used to be able to load them during missions. :(
-
The sas were using m16s in the 'Bravo Two Zero' era of legendary Andy McNab. Even tho that was years ago, it's not completely rubbish to see them with yank rifles.
-
What's so hard to understand about kill kill kill? Don't need a briefing for that.... Or a mission maker to be honest lol
-
:D i'll be downloading too thanks to all the voice actors for providing immersion
-
yeah 'incoming' artillery, that isn't scripted and could come at any moment, is what has been missing from the game for a long time. that makes you remember how tough a real battle can be.
-
i dunno... roadside bombs, blowing up marketplaces full of innocent women and children, hiding in mosques so they can't be fired upon, blending in with the civi population to induce collateral damage.. suddenly snipers and tanks that can be killed with a good ole f-15 don't seem that bad
-
in your face 'on your face' implies something sexual :D thanks for another camp best community in the business

there's a lot of addons for this mission, but thankfully they're quality addons, featured in sick1's campaigns and others... so, if you're like me, you already have an Arma shortcut linking to all those mods already.. just need need the mission ;)
-
pretty much... coming across saying the missions are 'broken as hell,' is a bit rude, especially when it's a problem on your end. these guys are making free campaigns..stuff that other companies charge for called 'downloadable content' remember that :)

grand battles from a grunts perspective

i like playing other people's missions, because they're full of surprise. You don't know what's going to happen next, because you didn't have a hand in the mission creation process. Only time I make a mission is when I just need a firefight fix. -

lol it is a pretty solid campaign tho, especially if you're more interested in infantry-based ops. There is no worrying about having to fly a chopper or driving tanks, in order to complete a mission. We need more campaigns like this. :) -
ACE_Co_05 Patrol City - dense urban combat, no respawn, requires ACE only

would love for CQB in Arma/OFP to be as smooth as call of duty, or rainbow six. If you think CoD is too arcade-like, just remember that CQB was still tight in the classic rainbow six titles. That's like the missing piece from the series. -
keep up the good work stag tried running the regular campaign pbo when it first came out, and ran into some crashes... but the single-mission structure works nice, and the missions are fun when does TFB:2 come out :)

guess that makes it official then :butbut:
