    @DMarkwick: I'm currently loving using your mod (FAS for over a year now) w/ BlastCore... I just hope that in the future that BIS allows us to set our own particle count because between the two, they get reserved fast. Worst-case scenario is that I drop BlastCore and just use FAS because stock smoke totally ruins the immersion for me. Thank you again for all of your hard work and time spent w/ this excellent addition!!

It's really awesome to hear that you have commenced expanding this gem...I like your idea for faction expansion and consolidation (I was really wanting to play as Germany at one point yesterday). Something that I think would add to the immersion later down the road if you have time would be implementing faction-held positions, like towns or airbases. Pretty soon, BIS is going to be be contacting you to include your generator algorithm in the next ARMA installment as an "Instant Action" option!! Seriously, I've never had as much fun w/ this game as I've been having since finding the Flashpoint series. I took your suggestion on the Chernarus version, and with all of the trees and vegetation, you REALLY have to watch your step, a nice contrast w/ Takistan. Keep on doing your thing, thompsonb!!
  7. Awesome dynamic mission generator, thomsonb!! Haven't had any problems at all, and the only thing that I have to report is just a couple of incorrect text entries. The first is that when you end the mission and it shows the mission stats, the elapsed time is labeled in hours and minutes instead of minutes and seconds. The other is that there is an instance of 'militia' being spelled 'malitia'. Other than that, spotless IMO. I would have replied sooner, but I couldn't stop playing =]. In the future, do you think you could/would add the ability to start out in land or air vehicles? If not, I still would rate this scenario #1 on my list!! Thanks for your time and effort.
  8. @SNKMAN - Thanks for the prompt response...this is going to be quite the pleasure experimenting with all of the possibilities of randomness and immersion that you have bestowed upon us :D... @Manzilla - I had that same error (no ACE) only once when exiting the mission editor...restarted the game and have yet to see it again.
  9. Great collection of modules, Man !! I did notice that each group that I have synced with the System Module is displayed in real-time on the in-game map. Is there a way to disable this? I went back over the readme and didn't see this mentioned. Again, great work!!!

  11. Great map, man!! I've just played 3 or 4 small to mid-sized skirmishes, and they were a blast...looks really sweet w/ the various desert mods that I have downloaded. Thanks again!! Voyd
