  1. Do you have the filters enabled? On the right part of the mod menu etc? There is a menu that shows your installed mods, then a tab that shows all mods etc.
  2. My thanks for the speedy response HeinBloed. Is there any chance of a standalone OA version? A few guys in my group only have OA standalone but would like to give this mod a try. If not, they will have to go with out, but yeah, we're allowed to hope :) Regards.

    No but they do seem to all share features, engine and the like so it isn't hard to say VBS3. Personally though I dare say they are working on more paid DLC. Still interested to see how BAF is received. Austin.
  5. Hi b0b, you may have some luck using the unit-configs and using the DAC_Extern. Specifying ammo crates in a camp situation as an object there, putting it in a separate camp configuration so that things don't spawn there, just the ammo crate? It may not work, but in theory that's what I would try as you can already spawn ammo crates there for either faction etc. Good luck, if my idea doesn't work, I apologise and hope someone else can give you more insight.     Personally.. That right there would suck.As for O/P saying they are done with patching the games.. I don't think a few "beta" patches are fixing and stopping patching buddy. If they are, BIS have really taken an about face these past few months. As for asking what they are doing now. You're not the brightest to ask a developer their new plans, especially if it's some super secret weapon testing thing that everyone knows about 30 years before it's tested and manufactured. Austin.

With a lot of tweaking about and changes to warfare it may be possible, but as it stands Warfare is dynamic to a degree anyway and less resource intensive than this would be as you'd probably need to start and stop a few hundred DAC zones for it to work correctly for the mission design. That's just my opinion however and I'm not a professional at this by any definition of the word so it may not be true. @Silola - I just call it as I see it. Regards, Austin.

  10. Gday Silola, Hoping for a little assistance, struggling right now (read failing completely) to get camps to create. I've got 4 zones, working for creating Takistani Militia (infantry, wheeled vehicles and waypoints). However no matter what I try (most likely due to my lack of scripting knowledge) I'm unable to get camps to create, thus also unable to have respawning enemies. I've uploaded a zipped up copy of my mission, with the custom unit sqf's etc. If you can take a look and get back to me, I'd be much obliged, spent around 48 hours over the past week or so trying to get it running. Oh yes, the civilian player class is to test. When I try to test the mission, I get error zero divisor and the camps fail to create.   11. Sniper, navigate to your six updater folder, delete the six-updater.pid and try again, that's what happens to mine sometimes and deleting that file fixes it for me. Good luck.
  12. All the synchronize button does is makes sure that the updater can detect the available options. Go back to page 308 and you'll find my post, shows you the other steps you need to do Maximus. Good luck.
  13. @qawa you're editing the wrong userconfig. The one you need to change is the file that will be located inside the following. \Arma 2\userconfig\ACE\ Just do the changes in the client file in there, the other one is just a backup in case you bugger up the real one that is used by the mod. @Anyone having problems with the Six-Updater not detecting and updating the new sound mod folder. Open up the web client via 1 enter Click on configuration, click on synchronize Mouseover configuration and click presets Go to the mods area down the page a little, use the drop down box to find @ACEX_SM and click add existing Scroll down and click update Go back to main, select the preset you added the @ACEX_SM mod folder to Select install or update in the actions drop down. Click execute, kick back, relax and wait. Add @ACEX_SM to your shortcut for ACE mod Launch the game and viola, ACEX_SM should be working. Good luck.
  14. After reading through, I am here to ask if anyone else is having an issue with their six-updater. I've helped a few people to set it up, it goes through, updates, but when they launch their game, it's showing up that they are running 0.1.186. They re-run the updater, but it's saying current version 187 and doesn't update anything. Have I set them up wrong (I used the exact same instructions that I used and mine works fine) or is it an issue with something else? Any help is appreciated. EDIT: Seems to be fixed now, they needed to execute their shortcuts as administrators, as soon as they did that, it showed the correct version number. Regards, A Austin.
  15. Aye aye aye.. How many times will the Dev's have to say that they tested different methods and the blackouts are the most consistent? Doing the black out effect has the same effect as a radial blur, without needing to overtax peoples cards, not to mention radial blurring consistently can cause issues with peoples eyes in real life. The black outs are simple, effective and work well considering all of the above. Doubt highly that it's going to change any time soon. Also, to the people asking about new gear, did you forget to learn how to read a first post? Read the features, class lists, etc etc and you'll learn how many new things are already added. As for the chemlights, not sure, you're sure its in your primary ammunition kit slot? I've not been able to replicate the issue despite some testing. Good luck.
