Hmm, I'll check. I have a Nostroma Game Pad and between that and my keboard I probably changed 90% of the default key bindings. But I thought pushing the third mouse wheel is what you used to bring up the action menu. Just curious, what do you have your third mouse direct push button for? I have a logitech gaming mouse and couldn't even bind my two side buttons. First game I had that I couldn't use them.

Hi, Fun game. Right now trying to complete badlands. I have had a strange bug pop up from time to time since the beginning. I don't recall seeing anyone here discussing it so I thought I would bring it up myself. Occasionally (usually just when a mission is getting hot) when I press the action button for my players actions (such as gear, enter vehicle, change weapons or seats) I can't scroll to the other options below the top choice. I can select the top one however. I usually have to quite the game entirely for the bug to go away. I have my third mouse button setup as follows: Push down the third mouse wheel will open the action menu then scrolling the mouse wheel up or down highlights different action options. I can then select an option with the third mouse wheel or primary mouse button. The strange thing is, the similar action menu works when selecting squads/team members with the keyboard. The mouse wheel never has a problem scrolling through their options. Any ideas?

Never mind, I figured it out. Map needs to be open after you select transport.

I have a similar problem. I have figured out how to move the helicopter with my squad by indicating with the left mouse button. But twice now in this mission I have been asked to be picked up within the wooded area near the middle X on the map. The helicopter acknowledges and flies over ahead and because of the trees cannot land. Fair enough, so my squad and I run to a clearing and reorder the helicopter to pick us up using the communication command. I get a call from the helicopter that they are coming, but they never do. It stays at the original spot hoovering. I then get in a car with my squad and drive toward the lower X. I ask the helicopter again to pick us up, but he stays over the 2nd X. I know this because I can see his symbol on my map over the X. So at this point the helicopter is useless and I have only 20 mins to capture the bad guy. Do you guys know if I am doing anything wrong. Maybe there should or is a way to cancel that original command to be picked up in the forest. Is there a way to tell him where on map to pick us up? I tried the left mouse after our pickup order but it didn't seem to work. But it does work when he asks where you want to go.

Sure. I use a Nostromo N52 game pad with a Saitek joystick. Regular keyboard too.

Hi, I was a big fan of Operation Flashpoint and have been eagerly awaiting Dragon Rising. But after reading all the negative reviews and forum topics, I decided I am better off picking up Arma 2. This sounds like the game I should have been waiting for. Its funny how negative views of one game can actually help the sales out of a slightly older game. I surely wont be the last one getting Arma 2 for that reason. Hopefully I can get a box copy in a local store tomorrow. Looks like version 1.04 is the latest patch. Does this patch include all previous updates so I can avoid downloading the others? Also, are there any addons/mods you guys recommend I start to use from the beginning? Or should I wait and finish the original game's campaigns before adding those from the modding community (didn't know if they could screw something up). Thanks,
