Hello, I am a rather big noob when it comes to ArmA 2 mission editing, and I decided to try out the 3D editor, and to try to play it with a friend however I got the following message when I tried to host. I get the message every time I try to host at all. I did this while playing Combined Operations, and it seems to only affect the game when I launch CO, or OA, but not ArmA 2. Please pardon me if this in the wrong section.

Antonkr here Looking for a smallish co-op squad with a 10-20 dedicated members. Don't really want to get into a realismaddressmebymyrankyoucunt sort of unit rather something a bit more casual. I can do pretty much anything from getting your asses to the LZ on a helicopter to being able to man a 4 crew tank, to doing whatever the hell you need me to. I am familiar with most ArmA 2 and ACE concepts so you won't need to teach me how to walk.

Not really a modder for arma 2 but for Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I do it well for a few things for enjoyment of people actually liking that mod, and many times because i feel the game is missing something.

What about having also the US Army units and vehicles in woodland camo?

Because its not Call of Duty. :p

Maybe theres a problem with activation hence its set to none.

Same with the SCAR. I am a big fan of realism but it is something I dont care THAT much about. I would just like to see another Arrowhead type of expansion.

I am not sure if this is supposed to happen but when I download a mod and put the files into their folders. It doesn't allow me to go on some servers saying that mod does not include the key. It is maybe because I am just throwing the files into the add-ons directory. I am pretty new to the multiplayer so advice would be really appreciated.

I would expect another expansion using the ArmA 2 engine. Kinda like operation arrowhead. Why the hell not since the engine is already very good and can be still used for another 5 years.

Thats what I would do but the only way for me to access Combined Operations is via steam which means I have no other way of doing it other then steam.

I was just testing in the editor with m1a2 and i was alone vs 50 ai and they easily shot me down. It was in operation arrowhead tho. Dont know about ArmA 2.

I have ArmA 2 but not Operation Arrowhead yet. Can you use for example OA only Scar in Chernarus map if you have both games?

Hello I am new to the editor and I saw list of classnames. Is there any way to directly add an object to the editor with just knowing its classname and not using any sqs sqf scripts. If its not possible without them how can I use it. Also I saw an awesome article on ArmAholic listing all the classnames and I can't find it now. Thank you. PS: I am sorry if this was asked before but I couldn't find it.

I was reading the ArmA 2 class names, and I wonder how could you add a building wherever you want using classnames. And is it possible at all??

Addons that I want that are actually possible to make 1: Civilian UAZ. (I lived in Russia and yes they do have them) 2: All desert troops but NOT replacment 3: More animals ---- Mods that are Hard/impossible 1: USA map mod. Like a city or two in US, so we can make something like Russians attacking USA 2: Female soldiers. (why not?) 3: knifes, bats, swords, etc. 4: ALLIEN 5: Nano suit from crysis

Guys i need help. I tried using HuntIR but it won't work. The charge doesn't eject the camera in midair. Also theres no voice when talking to AI. And also many smaller major bugs!

About norrins script. How to change what can be added?

If you were to create arma 3 how would you make it? whats stuff would be diffrnet from arma 2?

i am using a joystick and its way better to fly and drive. I used to play flight sims so i couldn't have played it without joystick.
