Go to my docs on your computer and re-name your oa.cfg file; when you start the game again it will create a new one; if it goes tits-up rename your old file ; worth a try

That is why i said in my post to put atoc to 0 Lets all face it what works for one doen't work for all (not in this game) but hell is it worth the effort.

Hi i run this game well on a mac under boot camp. Make sure u have all the drivers installed for windows don't use the bootcamp drivers!! especially for the graphics card download from Nvdia. Do u have ssd drive? when u install windows on a mac because there is no bios u can't select the correct drivers for the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers so windows loads the default Sata drivers which will make your hard drive access slow.There is a fix for this at insanely mac but will require a new installation of windows with a tweaked installer. Good luck keep trying !!!!It is worth it.

Hi try the old toothpaste trick on scratched cd's smear it on rub it in circular motion round the disk leave for five minutes wash it off. helped me out when your desperate . And patch your game 1.59

Im running my arma oa on a 2010 macpro and it smokes my 17 920 oc to 4 ghz. running win 7 64 with 6 gig ram on the mac with 460gtx in widows ive benchmarked both and the mac wins hands down.u don't need a mac graphics card to run under windows any card will boot in windows. Only place the 17 920 wins is with ssd running win7 and arma in raid config as i can't do that with the mac without spending alot of money!!!

I have the gtx 460 and get 68 in armaoa 08 bench mark. make sure you delete everything in your documents related to aram2;the game will create new one's; when i upgraded from gtx 260 i saw no improvement until i deleted these files even when u do a full re-install as these files remain until you manually remove them

Hi Camrade!!. I have the same spec as you except i have the 460; and I'm getting 68 fps on bench mark 08. Try deleting your Arma 2 other profile in documents and settings, the game will create a new one for you when u launch it again. I upgraded from a 260 and had crap performance until i deleted/renamed this file. Good luck

Hi look in the server section of this forum you will find posts on this subject !! You need to edit the server.cfg and add the line:- Persistant=1; this will not only save your current mission it will also save player ranks.
