If opfor gets 2-3 L39A1's in the air, blufor is screwed, my team lost due to this. They might not have AT but the FFARs (cant remember the name of them) can damage Abrams tanks enough for the crew to jump out and kill other vehicles.

But the takistanis, aside from militia and rebels, have NVGs, not sure if they can spot lasers or flashlights, but I will test.

To the entire reloading animations: To me the animation seems to be correct, i.e slapping the charger release/mag release, putting in a new mag, etc RH's M4/M16 pack includes a mag sliding in which helps depict the proper reload. But its only proper for tactical reloads, not dry reloads, if I could afford the motion capturing assets I would attempt it using my AR-15.......but it would only be the M4 and M16 anims...

If you are/were playing on expert it does NOT show locks, in Vanilla A2, you just have to assume you are locked, in OA, wait for the beeping noise.

Conveen, not to be rude, but two things: 1. Seat jumping is a big no no in ArmA, and its impossible anyways 2. Try switching to manual fire if you are that desperate to be a lone wolf.... ArmA was made to enforce/encourage teamwork, not Rambos Sorry if this comes off rude, but I'm just telling the truth

OA has much more realistic night lighting to me, also when you compared those screens were your Lighting and Gamma the same? As well as the time, day, month, and year (i dont think year matters). Thos have variable effects on the lighting.

To me its no different than editing a shortcut, its as simple as adding the mods to the end of the batch file's result. No different than editing a shortcut. Just my opinion

Ive been toying with my server cfg and the best stable although low amount is 15 players for my server, so i leave it at that (even for warfare). Becuase it can be pretty sad when my server is down the street and it gives lag becuase too many people join. So in short, tune the server to the amount that is stable, fun, and smooth!

Or protect the assets as best as you can, if Benny ports his warfares to OA (which more likely he will) make use of the camo nets etc. If that T-72 doesnt stand a chance against an M1A2, pull away. Warfare is not supposed to be balanced, to me it is a challenge to see how well you can manage your resources and assets, in short terms, Protect your valuable ass.......ets!!!!!!

Started using Counter-strike.com They have good customer service but their updating speed is so slow....Ive been 2 days w/o being able to connect to my own server due to their lack of speed, they keep this up im switching to Low ping servers for OA...

Wow, just save us your petty arguments and sell the game, sorry they wasted your time becuase you are too god damned lazy to do any research on Linux hosting, editing language, and the fact you cant download addons from a server! Good day to you sir, please leave now. Also this is the audience they attract, many, if not anybody at my school has heard of this game let alone the series! BIS (assumably) expects the same audience that played the original OFP games. Also the ArmA 2 website is not for editing it is for marketing purposes, sorry its not like callofduty.com or anything like those!

has anyone heard anything about www.counter-strike.com ? They host ArmA 2 servers and was wondering if their prices tell you what you are really getting (bad Customer service, non-stable, etc)

or you can try East setfriend [Civilian,0] I use it by putting a trigger that covers the entire map that activates when anybody is present, you may be able to do it from the init.sqf or description.ext, but im not sure
