  1. I've done it the hard way before, but you could always station a hind nearby in advance. Sorts them out before they even become a problem :D
  2. Rabbits! Stops MBTs in their tracks :D

    AI Piloting Woes

I've found that depending on the flying speed you will have to adjust your waypoints to 100-500m before your destination. If the AI detects enemy units they will go into an attack mode and continually fly/shoot at enemies autonomously if left to their own devices. Setting your pilot to 'safe' mode as needed seems to give you a little bit of room to shoot from the gunner position

    Dedicated server on self PC

Might be off base here but I don't use spaces in the lines xxxx="yyy"; and having no issues that's the only other difference i can see
  5. I just sniped the gunners & commanders, then used satchel charges found in the SUV to take out the tanks.... felt more satisfying than shooting peas at a brick wall
  6. I really liked the change of pace - I spent 10 minutes on the roof scouting waiting for an attack, before figuring out what I was supposed to do  Just gave me more immersion thinking "I guess this is what providing security must be like"
  7. Not happy at all about the campaign being in the patch. That was the reason I forked out for the pre order bundle - feeling a bit ripped off now... :(

  9. thanks I didn't know how to create a ticket :D
  10. Just got a weird bug with this beta: when throwing an IR strobe in SP-laser show, the strobe acts like a massive flare (blinding daylight) even without NVG. I can reproduce this I my machine, wondering if anyone else has gotten this?
  11. Seconded. Resistance & cold war are the best so far

    Battleye

Had been having the same issues Here's how I fixed it: D/L the BEclient.dll from the Battleye website Copy to (and overwrite) the X:/users/local../BohemiaInteractive/Arma2/BE folder (something like this - doing it from work/memory) AND in the X:/program files/Bohemia Interactive/Arma2/Battleye/ folder This fixed it for me - seems the BE files weren't being updated in my case using a non-default Arma2 directory installation. Hope this helps
