It sounds like you have a HDD bottleneck there. Chernogork has a LOT of textures loading and textures are bottlenecked at the HDD for high end rigs. -
Seconded... especially when everyone's in shooting position on a CRRC and nobody is able to shoot.

Let's talk about Rucks! :) I love the ruck system in ACE and I use the RUSH pack most of the time. I see that there are many different types of assault rucks, are they all different or just graphics? -

Campaign completed... Thank you for playing... Stay tuned for more campaigns by Sick1 NC is eliminated at last... that was once hell of a campaign!!! The way you set up that final campaign forced me to take it on the traditional way... which was really fun! CQB style! Until the next evil rises, SEALS will be waiting! :) R&R Six! :) Will be doing my own training in my area of weaknesses in preparation for your next campaign! :) PM me if you need any help at all. :) Thanks sick for such a wonderful time! Its been a fun 3 weeks with Seal Team 6 Campaign 3! :) (man, can't believe it took me 3 weeks! hahahaha! granted I play about 3 hours a day and some days I don't play at all...hehehehe)

@Arch, that's why I never update my ACE if I am in the middle of a mission. :) I wait til I finish a mission, then I update before starting the next mission.

@Swordsman, I am able to track using cannon on both pilot and gunner seat. Will feedback on the steps I take exactly to do it later. -

HiFi Sounds are definitely the BEST for ArmA1/2, par none! I've sampled some of their latest sounds for vehicles and other weapons and I can tell you this... once you've used it, you won't consider other sound mods. :) For the first time, listening to cannons fired your direction from an aircraft IS FRIGHTENING AS HELL! Make sure you have a sub! hahahah! -
@Sick, no, they just removed the drop weapon and put weapons config. Read their update notice at http://dev-heaven.net/projects/ace-mod2/news You could update your ACE using the six updater and then open up any missions in this campaign to see it happen. @Arch, well, they are still in beta and already made it known that it will be updated almost on a daily basis and thats why the six-updater is used. Can't complain about that. :)

@Tim987, you can move the DTV with mouse and with the proper DTV graphic frame only when you are in the gunner seat. Makes a lot of sense to me as the gunner seat does have a lot more gadget than the pilot seat. @wilka_woo, if BIS had this by default, many of the players won't be able to play properly! hohohoho... this thing makes it so real a few hours of practise needs to go into learning its functions and then a few more hours into actual practise runs before you are mission ready, just like a real pilot. The cannon tracks targets very well as long as you set up the targetting correctly, which can be quite complex... Only issue I find is the the IHASS target box don't follow the target on my screen when I am in free look mode and looking around. The target box only start tracking the target when I recenter my view... a bug? -

@SNKMAN, I think we really need to make gunner positions available for all troops just like static defense quickly. :) I think many people are finding it very wierd that the AI either don't take gunner seat or disembark out of gunner seats. :) Inevitably, many of the default gunners are not crew class. Hope you will find some time to see if it can be made into this potentially greatest mod of ArmA2 EVER! :) Since you are including quite a bit of FX in GL4, this shows that your ambition for GL4 is much more than just an AI mod, right? In that case, do you have plans to make gibbing FX? A little like what SLX has done but just a nice and simple single FX for bodies to burst into parts when killed by heavy calibre weapons? -
@sick, just to let you know, the latest ACE update which removed the weapons_put config, creates the missing weapon_put config error everytime you start any missions in this campaign. It doesn't break anything but its just general annoyance. :)

sigh, thats why I always prefer to play small squads of 4 or 5 men than 12 men...hehehe... more than once I have been backblasted by my own guys when there are too many of them around. Thats why these days I also give them only metis or javelin which has no backblast. -

@SNKMAN, got it! :) yeah, I suppose the reinforcement group aren't far enough from the conflict point. :) Awaiting the mount vehicle for firepower improvement in your future update. :) GREAT GREAT work with this update! Radio chatter is awesome! hahahah! AI also behaved more intelligently now! Oh one more thing... since you made launchers come with backblast, would it be sensible to also make sure AI don't fire when a friendly is right behind them? :( I see AI blasting each other up with RPG backblast, which is both funny and frightening...hahaha -

Tested the mounting vehicles thing again. placed empty vehicles with the main group and the reinforcement group and no one got into any vehicles... :( -

Eyeball, I get the same flares.sqf missing error when I place an apache in editor. note: it is the ACE version apache. Also, is there a quick key for bringing up the IHASS? It doesn't come on by default when using TADS like the manual says. -
Buy and find out. :) Not a heavy investment for potentially up to 10 years of play. :)
