The screenshot got ruined by photobucket...for some reason it all looks like a giant blur and i'm not sure why i'll get some more today. If i stand the regular danish troops that i have fixed next to the sf guys the camo pattern is exactly the same colour and contrast. I'll get some shots later.

Happy New Year! Ok so a little work on the SF units....Also been working on various configs. I have the direct action/ assault guys done too but the wife is demanding i go to bed so no time for pics of those. Enjoy. the camo on the temp guys looks a little blurry on the screenshot for some reason must be the file upload. but it should give you an idea it looks nice and crisp in game.

i'm suprised no one has modelled him yet and inserted in him as a mod...or maybe that's because he already exists in game and kills modded bigfoots (bigfeet?) on sight?

finally got around to trying this out last night, Fantastic work thought the overall quality of the project was def top notch, my only complaint (which has already been noted elsewhere in this thread) is the neck issue on player models. I hope to see more releases down the line keep up the great work!

USMC Variety Pack Merry Christams Everyone! I just decided to do some reskins of the standard USMC units in game to spice things up a little. Included in this addon are: Download:http://www.filefront.com/15204653/USMCVarietyPack2009.rar USMC in Brown Uniforms and Desert Digital Helmets: USMC in old Woodland BDUs: USMC in 3 color DCUs: USMC in Woodland BDUs and DCU Helmets: A few quick notes. I didn't include any flags or unit patches because every time I release an addon I get a bunch or requests asking for said unit to be included. This way if I leave them plain I can just do them when requested.

well SES like i said I really don't mind these are just simple USMC retextures. I added the flag patch and just redid the textures a little to make then alittle more defined (not the camo but the grey underlay). I'm going to add a little more "grime" to the uniforms to make them seem a little more weather. Then sort out the squad config. nice analogy but the difference is that not a lot of people who played the original ofp know anything about the cm/BIS split. That is where the issue lies. Also most gamers don't know the difference between a publisher and developer. So there are several different problems at work here. Plus CM did a lot of PR work trying to establish themselves as the true OFP guys.

Well perhaps these will be a good placeholder until someone gets something else out. Or perhaps like i said we can pool our resources. It seems like every project I start someone else is already working on so maybe I should start doing really obscure countries. Next by me..."Swiss Guards of the Vatican City" mod for Arma2 (ha! bet no one else thought of that!) :P

Thanks brianbug. I actually hate to use the standard PS patterns i always make my own based on custom materials. But in this case i think i can just work enough detail into the newer textures with brushes instead. :)

Thanks kusk...one of my plans for this, now that it looks like this could be a nice pet project for me, is to get out another release that is as close as possible and then create some accurate danish models in for arma2 (i.e. correct body armor etc). However i think they already several others working on Danish stuff so hopefully we can pool our resources.

read my post above...all people who love DR have clearly been blinded by the overbeating of their dragons that was first exposed by Rasden. This is why they cannot see what a mess of a game it is.
