This guy i know can spawn ammo crates and vehicles when we play coop missions or campaigns that he hosts on his PC. is there an addon/mod for this? he says he uses the server control or something. its pretty nice to be able to go through bis campaigns on up armored humvees and with ACE weapons and gear. thanks.

ive tried with six digits so far, entering first the X axis and then the Y axis. will try with more now but it hasnt been working so far :/ noticed island panther starts numbers like this: 99 100 101 000|001|002|003|004|005|006|007|008|... ---------- Post added at 06:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:44 PM ---------- y axis coords are numbered top to bottom instead of starting from the bottom :/ incredible that icebreakr could screw something up something that basic but there it is.. anyway i tried it now in takistan and it worked, gotta give this more testing, will try on cherna again -

i like the originality of the addon however the grids arent working. im updating from sixupdater, its up to date, and yet the cannon points in a completely different direction than the one it should be pointing at. am running ace and oa; tried this on custom and BIS maps. please fix this, and also the external camera in gunner view is somewhat stuck so i cant see anything, id love it to be movable like in commander and driver views so one can see the shell flying off towards the target. by reading the manual and taking a look at how the gun is operated in-game i take it whoever made it used to crew one of these big boys. -
i had a webpage in my favourites with all the ace 2 classlists (i remember it had a dark background, all the weapons with pictures and all the magazines that could be used with them) but now i changed pc and i cant remember what page it was. anyone know? also, is there a way to have a backpack on a unit already filled with stuff at the beginning of a mission? thanks

i've played a lot of domination maps, i was thinking i wanted to put some f16's in a duala domination and have a go at bombing the towns; Its usually hard to get your hands on some aircraft on public servers so i wanted to do it in local, with some new aircraft. i've downloaded and played a number of domi missions from public servers but i don't know how to edit them, nor can i host any of them on multiplayer, they're not between my missions. how can i do this? thx

ive gone through the forums and ive seen it has already been discussed a lot, and i also have seen addons that have partially fixed the problem such as ''31st MEU Replacement Reticles and Realistic Ballistics'' but the acog scope in arma 2 simply is nothing like the real thing. its hard to get used to after having seen how rather awesome it had been done in cod 4, and i would like to see something of the sort (maybe improved) in arma 2. i think instead of just changing the reticule, which is what yakavetta did, although forgetting the horizontal lines basically making the civilian version, it would look better if it was used like the aimpoint is currently used in arma 2 (so no black sheet of cardboard with a hole in the middle in front of your screen): simply instead of having the red dot, it would have the acog reticle and model. this is what the acog the US Marines use (the TA31RCO) looks like, In Real Life: in Arma: (as has been said already, completely wrong reticule for its model) in project reality, a bf2 mod (aka cardboard /w hole method, stadia lines are missing): in Call of Duty Modern Warfare: in insurgencymod, a fan-made modern infantry combat mod on the source engine: out of all 4 the arma scope is sadly the least realistic, and while i hope that they will implement a good acog in OPA i doubt that they will fix it with a patch. it is a 2 eyes open scope, meaning you should be able to see the surroundings while looking through it, so: is it doable to replace the red dot with the chevron and switch the scope models?

has anyone ever tried gunning in an apache or any other attack helicopter? its impossible. no matter what orders you give them, the pilot will never stop the aircraft in the direction you need to fire, it will fly so low it will crash into the hills more often than not in takistan; if given the command "stop" it will keep going forward at a 45 degree angle regardless, eventually crashing, not giving you a chance to shoot anything because the ground beneath you is zooming past at 150 km/h, they will not stay still even if i put this disableai "move" in their initline, then switch to them to take off and position the aircraft, so i can switch back to gunner. even then they will just choose a random direction and start flying and no order makes them stop. even putting auto hover on before switching changes nothing. does bis even play their own games? its distressing to try one stupid mission out for an hour because the ai behaves in a totally retarded manner. im starting to think they mustve gotten it from their creators? like father like son as the sayig goes.. is there any way at all to fix this? maybe an ai mod? thanks in advance

Incoming tracer fire cannot be seen, why?

assuming that is true, that is irrelevant. the point here is that the tracers in arma are completely invisible if seen within 90 to 270 degrees from the bore sight, which is quite different. -
i've had a project in mind for a very long time but ive never really gotten to do it, this is something i had thought of ages ago, the old thread is here http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=89830 i think opticalsnare did something very similar as he states in that very thread but i dont think he ever came back to check after that post. what i want to do (for now) is to change aimpoint zoom and switch the red dot with something else, to see how it looks. thanks for the help PS i'm a total n00b so i would appreciate step by step instructions and a list of the programs i need to edit the reticle. thx ---------- Post added at 02:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 AM ---------- ive opened a pbo weapon file from arma 2's addons folder and there's a bunch of p3d files in it, i guess theyre what i have to edit. does anyone know which program i need? ive googled it but i dont feel like trying exe's downloaded from random sites.. ---------- Post added at 03:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:39 AM ---------- ok after some search i downloaded the bi editor tools and now im trying to open weapon pbo's with oxygen 2 but i get an error saying it is unable to load bynarized version of the pbo, mesh loadedinto the editor is only known bounding box of the p3d model.. no idea what this means nor how it is fixed

ok so recently (talkin bout past year or so) ive been noticing how all videogame websites have started to request age or date of birth when accessing their websites... i find the process quite annoying and time consuming especially since if you dont select a +18 age you get locked out and to re enter it you have to delete cookies etc.. is this a videogame company thing trying to establish the age of theyre customers or has EU regulation somehow imposed on vg companies this age threshold on their website in addition to the sticker on the boxes? am i the only one whos annoyed about this? i tried to join a website on moh, somehow got a "wrong" date (i just changed the year to domething down the list randomly so it was 1-1-19something) and it locked me out... what's the goddamn point?!?!!?!?
