erhm... what about women wanting to play arma too? in all seriousness... women should be in arma 3 on equal terms with men, this is supposed to be the 21st century after all... and women have had the opportunity to serve in armed forces throughout history ;) the dahomey amazons does spring to my mind as a classical example of an all female military unit that served on equal terms ;)

i will get this when it goes beta :) i love the period and there are so much possibility to do something with arma and if you don't like trench warfare? the african theather, vonn lettow and his campaign in east africa- 4 years of successful guerrilla warfare the ottoman campaigns of the middel east and the balkans - we got the map for a med east area already :) the eastern front of germany and austro hungary, romania and possibly also serbian fronts could be well covered by the original arma 2. the italian front could also be nice to visit, rommel won some victories there that should be fun to recreate :)

yes it looks very very pretty and it does indeed look like an arma ii engine makeover. now we just need some info on the gameplay from the devs. but since it is being developed for consoles as well im not expecting a classic like the original nor any revolutionary improvements other than squads and infantry... or maybe it is just me :p

it would appear as if bis indeed did threaten the guy, since they never even bothered answering your question. also ive found no indication of bis actually owning any of the IP for carrier command or any news to the fact, one is left with a rather bad taste... i for one would also love a clarification as to what has been going on and a simple clarification as to who owns the IP currently but it is lovely to see one of my favorite oldies remade, even if it is going to be consolif*'ed :rolleyes:
