Thanks for responses guys. I turn it off every night and it usually gets turned off several times throughout the day. And no screen saver. I will definately try defragging it. I had thought about that earlier but got sidetracked on something else. The heat thing is another idea that was brought up as well. I've been running speedfan now so I will keep track of my temps. Right now the game is running minimized and the GPU is up to 43C. I'll see how it goes after I play it for a bit. I had an issue with the trees turning to squares and such as well. But I played one of the senario missions instead and it worked fine, then when I went back to campaign it was a lot better, but still not how it was. Thanks a lot guys.

Ok so I've been playing this game for several days now. I did not expect it to run very smoothly on my laptop (Gateway FX, Vista, 4gb ram, 1.84 cpu, Nvidia 8800M GTS 512 MB) However I could run the demo on the 1440 resolution and most things on high pretty smoothly. For a couple days anyways, then it started to slow down and would stutter a lot even at lower settings. I figured it was a fluke and bought the game anyways. Same issue. It ran perfect on mostly high settings. But after about 3 days it is suffering the same results. I installed the new patch a day ago, and it still ran fine after the patch. Just today it has started to act up. I'm guessing it is a problem associated with my computer, and not the game. Any suggestions here? Thanks
