Just bought the game and installed it. When I click start from the autorun I am given a dialog titled 'EC' with the message 'EC : 5570'. REAL DESCRIPTIVE, heh. So I uninstalled, reinstalled. Still didn't work. So I updated it to 1.04, still nothing. Any ideas?

After the file is renamed, please try to launch your application again and let us know your results. Best regards, SecuROM Support Team I found the dll in my installation of Rail Simulator, and I suspect that as long as I have that file renamed I will not be able to run Rail Simulator.

I just purchased the DVD from Best Buy. I found all the same hits for EA download manager as you did, and so I figured what the hey and reinstalled it. No dice. I found info about securom not liking daemon tools, so I removed that. Still no; very frustrating.
