If the AI suck in Coop it doesn't speak well for the players skills. Hop into a public server sometime and check out the scoreboards.

Exactly, and suicides shouldn't ever enter into the discussion. Depressed people will always off themselves. Japan kicks our asses at those numbers and they're gun free. It's a non issue.

When someone states that gun accidents are more likely to occur in homes that have guns rather than those without it's hard to take them seriously.

If you want to see how phobias play into it just look at the numbers of homicides committed with any type of rifle (400 per year) then ask why the assault rifle ban gains such support. Big scary guns.

It's hard to take anything seriously from a country that banned so many video games. Not exactly the best barometer down there.

Knife homicide has always outweighed gun homicide in Australia and after one incident, which resulted in a higher gun homicide spike, they decided to ban guns. Now gun homicide is back below knife crime, like always. Totally worth surrendering freedoms..

Australia should get on with the next ban.. http://www.aic.gov.au/en/statistics/homicide/weapon.aspx

If you can read that from that data you're nuts and shouldn't have weapons.

Yeah, bombs are responsible for the two largest mass murders in the US, excluding 9/11 and Waco.

You claimed that no one gets beaten to death. I wasn't trying to prove anything against pistols or rifles.

Clearly no point it attempting to reason with you. For any others though, you can find here nearly more people were beaten to death by hands and fists in 2010 than were killed with long arms. Some guy seemingly did a suicide by cop last night by shooting at a bunch of folks at a high school football game. I'm assuming he was trying to die because he hit fuck all. Anyway someone nearby who was gardening picked up a rock for a weapon. I know the chances are infinitely small of being in the right place at the right time (or wrong) but I feel obligated to carry, not to save my as but others. I'm fine if I go down too but I couldn't hack the survivors guilt. I can see not wanting every swinging dick carrying but it beats a rock.

I should clarify, I don't have any issues. It's just easy to claim PTSD for the free money. For me it's more about pride than firearms. I'm fine. On the firearms bit, PTSD affects more than just vets, they won't be taking guns away from victims of violence and car crash survivors so I doubt it would ever fly.

My friend who is a Vietnam vet claims that they can't do that, and he receives benefits for PTSD. He also retired safely as a State Trooper. He constantly urges me to file a claim with the VA but I won't because I believe that could change at any time. He's got enough years on me that it wouldn't really affect him.
