Hello, i am trying to get back into the game. However my group of people have their own server, and they have turned off the green reticule that looks like ).( in the screen. I absolutely hate this because its mainly just annoying. Is there any mods or ways to change this so its only me that has it. I dont want to change the server for 15-20 people when i find something annoying. Do you guys know of any fixes?

Well i got what i needed, so like i said i dont care. I dont play with you so i dont see what the big deal is. If i can do somethin small to make me enjoy the game atleast a little more with MY group, and they are ok with it. Then its not cheating. Im only doing what was in Vanilla version. Im not using an aimbot or throwing perfect grenades at someone or has unlimited ammo.

The people know im doing it, and i dont care if you are ok with me cheating or not. Im not affecting your game, And i am only affecting their game for about 45 minutes every 5 months.

Im ok with cheating cause i play once every 5 months. I hate how our group has out games now-a-days so i dont play it. And thanks ill download this to see if it works.

I used to have a script for this. I had to reformat my computer a few times due to a bad HDD. Anyways what i used to have was when a person walked into a trigger spot. A Helicopter or plane would fly over and drop down Ammo crates for a player. I no longer have this and would like to know if there are anymore scripts out there for this in Arrowhead. I have searched but since i never get anywhere with searching i figured i would ask here. One of the problems with the other script i had was, how ever many people was in the server it would drop that many crates. So if i had 1 person playing, it would drop 1 crate. 5 crates for 5 people, 30 crates for 30 people. Now this doesnt seem like a big deal but when they are all full and we only need 1 crate for the entire squad. Having 30 fully loaded crates being dropped down is a little over kill. Does anyone have a script for this? if so could you post it or send me a link, Thank you.

I have been trying to figure this out for awhile. It seems to have only started since i upgraded to windows 7. Anytime i start vent and the game, my vent no longer works. It seems like it freezes up or something since the icon shows it is continuously talking. I have posted this in the vent forums a few months ago but no body answered. I have tried unlocking the controls so only Vent was using CTRL. even did hands free so i didnt have to worry about that. Also ran everything as administrator, checked the bandwidth. I have tried nearly everything i can think of, even changed to Teamspeak and other forms of communication. But Arma2 seems to take away all types of talking, even in game i cant do it. I dont know where else to turn so i guess i am posting this here. Anyone know the answer?

Ok well all of that was already checked. But i went ahead and unchecked it all, and am waiting for a friend to come online so we can test it out. Since it only occurs in MP and not SP its hard to test on my own.

So wait, are you guys saying i should try a different directx? like 10 or 11? I am a little confused on if you meant that, or if there is an option in vent for this.

I have been running it in administrator. with no luck. It will work for maybe 10 minutes if i am lucky, then just stop.

Hey guys, im sorry i keep making threads, i am searching for answers but i cant ever find any. I have been trying to get the Urban Patrol Script working but i cant seem to get it. I put the .sqf file in my mission like all the others, and do the rectangle called "rahmadi" in the game. Then put in this init line.... nul=[this,"rahmadi","random"] execVM "ups.sqf" and it is typed out exactly like this, and anytime i preview. all the guys just disappear, i dont know what is going on.

Hello, my group has quit playing Arma 2 since they are on to different games. I for one still wish to play, but since there are hundreds of servers out there and most of them are all clan/group servers i dont really want to join in and ruin the party. I would like to find a group that does play Co-op missions if possible, i have played for a long time, i do have a Microphone if that matters, I hope someone would be ok with me joining because i really would like to play some missions with a few people. Even if that is only 2-3 people.

Hello, i would like to post my mission i made recently. My entire group had quit there server so i never really got to try it out, outside of me playing by myself. I was wanting them to play so I could improve on it, but now that nobody wants to play anymore since they are on to newer games i dont really know how well the map turned out. Its a rather basic map, you start off just northeast of Chernagosk (sp?) top of a hill, guns are at the end of the road, there are 2 LAV's and 2 choppers, you can use either if you wish but we never did since there isnt very many units that could kill any of the LAV's. You and if you have anybody else that wants to try it just suit up and go to Chernagosk and try to clear out the city. Its a rather basic map, nothing to heavy in scripts and such, i just wanted nice clean fun really. I do hope someone tries it out and tells me if it is good or bad. I put alot of detail and work into this map for just a mission to go clear out a city. So if anyone does spend any time trying it out, please dont hesitate to tell me if it sucks or not or what i need to work on. Yea ill look into it later and put up another download link with ACE2 in the game.

No comments? Has anybody even looked at the mission through the editor atleast?

Is this possible? I thought i read it somewhere that you can add buildings to the regular maps just through the mission editor. Does anyone know where i can find that again, or am i crazy and it doesnt exist.

I need one. I have been trying to figure out this map, as well as my friend. And anytime we upload it to our server for MP use, we pick the map. It counts down and then just stops and doesnt go to the selection screen for our people. I have tried for 3 hours or more taking out scripts, working on triggers.
